An English-language report of Jerome D'Costa on the unjustified attack on two churches -- one Catholic and one Baptist -- in Narayanganj Town of Bangladesh on January 23, 1985. This attack by extremist elements of local fundamentalist Muslims was mounted on a baseless accusation, completely unrelated with Christians. Published in the 'Asia Focus' fortnightly of the UCANews of Hong Kong, the report also has a follow-up on a reconciliation reached between the Muslim and Christian leaders at the behest of the local government officials.
