1. Introduction

This report contains the description of the activities developed by the intern Afonso

Rauh in the first two months of internship. The internship is taking place in the Body Vehicle

Development Department, which is integrated in the BMW Motorcycle Research and

Development Center, in Munich, Germany.

To provide an easier understanding, some background inform
