• Internet is the “Information Superhighway” that is connected to people all over the world (O’Leary & O’Leary, 2011)

• 1969 U.S. Funded a Project called ARPANET (O’Leary & O’Leary, 2011)

• It is a Large Network that connects with smaller networks throughout the world.

• 1991 Switzerland introduced CERN (Center for European Nuclear Research).
