and also boosts better understanding between
employees and employers. Having a business

leader solves many problems.
Business Management Courses Improve Productivity
The management courses gives the students an early
perspective of the areas of business. The subjects
taught equips the students to enhance the productivity
of the company.
Entrepreneurship Cell
The Entrepreneurship Cell is to ignite creative thinking and nurture entrepreneurial instincts among students.
The cell works diligently to achieve the mark by conducting stimulating workshops, competitions and interactive
sessions. The cell organizes an annual Entrepreneurs' Day where students demonstrate their acquired business
acumen.
The cell works on broader vision of societal upliftment by employment generation. E-cell is associated with
iamsme of India and indianstartups.com that facilitates meaningful exposure for the students by conducting
various programs in the college.
Mentoring
At Aravali college mentoring is an integral part of the learning process. It establishes a positive and supportive
relationship amongst the students and faculty members and encourages the students to perform and develop to
their fullest potential. The mentor becomes a source of wisdom, teaching, and support for the students.
Mentoring focuses on supporting the mentee in his/her journey today and beyond.
IRT
Based on the findings of the employability checks being conducted at ACEM the department has identified
certain key skills(behavioral as well as technical) that need to be worked upon in order to make the students
industry ready.
Hence, at Aravali we conduct a structured training program named as "Industry Readiness Training" in order to
have timely intervention.
PDP
Personality development is the growth and development of thinking, perception, attitude, nature, behaviour and
activities that differentiate among people. It is a tool to bring out one's abilities and powers for making oneself
aware of the inner self and become more confident to face the outside world. The program lays emphasis on
enhancing the overall personality and preparing the students to face the industrial needs. One lecture per week
is assigned to PDP. Attendance in the same is compulsory.
Internship
At Aravali College of Engineering and Management we assist our students in getting great internship
opportunities. Internship provides an opportunity to directly interact with eminent achievers in the respective
fields. Throughout an internship the students develop a variety of soft skills, including communication skills,
personal effectiveness, presentation skills, creative problem solving and influencing skills. Michael Ellender of
Birmingham Forward said of his internship: “I am a very proactive person and was keen to only take a role where
I could use my graduate skills. In my experience, if you are willing to show initiative, enthusiasm and work hard,
you will be given further opportunities to develop. I was pleased to stay on after the placement and have now
been promoted to a higher level role that I enjoy.”
Innovative Teaching Methodologies
Suzie Boss (Author of Bringing Innovation to School: Empowering students to thrive in a changing World) says
that, “The first step in teaching students to innovate is making sure that educators have opportunities to be
innovators themselves”. The Department of Management Studies highly recommend this noble thought by
inculcating 21st Century teaching skills in the classes. Flipped classroom and curriculum based activities are
some of the innovative teaching methodologies which the department implements in elongation with the
customary teaching. The approach thus fetches best out of the conceptual framework and the ingenious mindset
of the students.
Online interface with students
Keeping pace with the technological advancement ACEM has adopted indigenously developed interface for
better knowledge sharing called “Salesforce”. This makes the interaction between the students and the college
immaculate.
Academic/ Extracurricular Activities
From strengthening the mind to promoting better time management skills, extracurricular activities helps
students succeed much more than just academic endeavor. Extracurricular activities also strengthen the belief of
Management Department in the value of what we do and the best reasons to participate in extracurricular
activities are: Getting creative about helping children, conveying enthusiasm for the profession, building
connection to the classroom, reaching the hesitant student etc.

Banas dairy industrial visit
Operational go through
They receive milk from Gujarat plant and the milk is generally transported through train and then transferred into
trucks (MILK CONTAINER TRUCKS). At Gujarat it is locked and the key of that container is with only two people,
the person who locks the container in Gujarat and the person who receives the milk in Faridabad. It is also secured
by pins which another party receives through an email.
When the truck reaches the plant in Faridabad, the sample is first tested and then passed for further operations.
Phases of operation showed to the students
Cream separation and pasteurization of the milk – After receiving the milk, it is pasteurized to remove impurities and
then divided into 3 different categories: Maximum fat milk (Mixed milk), Medium fat milk (Mixed milk), Cow and
Buffalo milk (Pure milk)
