CONDUITS
Steel conduits are recognized as providing the most mechanical protection to the enclosed wire
conductors. It is also recognized as an equipment grounding conductor.
We at ITCC produce our conduits by rolling our own tubing from high grade mild steel strips, welding
and hot dip galvanizing it, using our own Zinctech process that combines Zinc, a conversion coat and an
organic coating.
The inside of the conduits has a corrosion resistant lubricating coating for easier wire pulling.

EMT - ELECTRICAL METAL TUBE
EMT is a steel raceway of circular cross section
which is unthreaded.
The exterior is galvanized and protected by a clear
zinc coating. The interior is a smooth continuous
raceway and is coated with organic lubricants. It is
installed either indoors or outdoors in all conditions
and produced in trade size from ½ to 4.
EMT pipes are manufactured in accordance with the latest edition of the following: • American National Standards Institute – American National Standards for Steel (ANSI C80.3)
• Underwriters Laboratories Standard for Electrical Metallic Tubing (UL 797)
• 6M (EMT) 20 feet

RMC is a threaded metal raceway of circular cross
sections with coupling which can either be standard
straight tapped conduit or integral type.
It is known as the heaviest weight and thickest steel
conduit.
RMC pipes are manufactured in accordance with the latest edition of the following: • American National Standards for Electrical Rigid Steel Conduit (ANSI C80.1)
• Underwriters Laboratories Standards for Electrical Rigid Conduit (UL 6)

using an electric resistance welding process. Listed
threaded steel raceway of circular cross sections
with the coupling which can be either a standard
