Bilateral and multi-lateral cooperation activities

Activities in the second semester of 2011

The cooperation activities play an important role in the

development of official statistics. The National

Statistics Institute (INE) 'prepares and executes plans

for international technical cooperation in statistics'

under the Law of Public Statistics.

The International Relations Directorate, in collaboration

with the International and Ibero-American Foundation

of Administration and Public Policy (FIIAPP), is

responsible for promoting and encouraging the

technical cooperation carried out by INE following

guidelines set by the Board of Directors and the Master

Plan for Spanish Cooperation 2009-2012.
