3. Sport Tourism Sport tourism resides at the intersection of
sport and tourism industries and is dynamic and filled with
intrigue, challenges, and opportunities for research and business
practice. Sport tourism defined is as leisure-based tourism that
takes people temporarily outside their home environment to
participate or watch physical activities, or enjoy attractions
associated with physical activity. Or simply, travel to a
destination to experience sport.

16. Host Company Information In addition to the 500,000 entries
in the Rock n Roll Marathon Series we also welcomed some 664,886
visitors to our Health and Fitness Expos in 2010. The average age
of our competitor is 38 with 62% of competitors female. We have
grown our US based events to 23 markets and have now added
Edinburgh and Madrid to our portfolio as we expand into Europe and
beyond.

to promote their assigned Rock 'n' Roll Event in the local and

establishing and building relationships in the health & fitness
