NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) is an awarding bodythat offers a comprehensive range of globally-recognised qualifications designed to meet thehealth, safety and environmental management needs of all places of work. NEBOSHqualifications attract around 50,000 candidates annually and provide aspirational health andsafety professionals with a structured career path to chartered membership of the Institution ofOccupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
NEBOSH Accredited Training
NEBOSH International Certificate in OccupationalHealth and Safety
The NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) inOccupational Health and Safety is an internationallyrecognised qualification that will provide Managers,Supervisors and operational staff with a broadunderstanding of key health and safety issues and providesthe first step in developing a career in health and safety.
The IGC syllabus takes a risk management approach basedon best practice and international standards, such as theInternational Labour Organisation (ILO) codes of practice.Local laws and cultural factors form part of the studyprogramme where relevant and appropriate.
Assessment
There are two 2-hour exams, one each for Units IGC1 and GC2 and a work based practical assessmentfor GC3.
Qualification Recognition
This qualification meets academic requirements forTechnical Membership (Tech IOSH) of IOSH andAssociate Membership (AIIRSM) of the InternationalInstitute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM).
The course is divided into three units:
Unit IGC1: Management of International Health and Safety
Unit IGC2: Control of International Workplace Hazards
Unit IGC3: International Health and Safety Practical Application
NEBOSH International Diploma in OccupationalHealth and Safety
The NEBOSH International Diploma in OccupationalHealth and Safety is the mark of a health and safetyprofessional. It is recognised by employers across theglobe and the number of people choosing thisqualification continues to grow. It is the mostappropriate qualification for aspiring health andsafety professionals.
Assessment
Units A, B and C are each assessed by one 3-hourwritten examination. Unit D is assessed by a writtenassignment.
Qualification Recognition
This qualification meets academic requirements forGraduate Membership of IOSH (GradIOSH) which is afirst step to becoming a Chartered Health and SafetyPractitioner (CMIOSH). It is accepted by the IIRSM asmeeting the academic requirements for fullmembership (MIIRSM).

The International Oil and Gas Certificate is for peopleresponsible for ensuring safety as part of their day-to-day duties in the oil and gas or petrochemicalsindustries. It focuses on international standards andmanagement systems, enabling delegates toeffectively carry out workplace safety responsibilitiesboth onshore and offshore and highlights theimportance of process safety management in the oiland gas industry.
Assessment and Certification
It is assessed with one two-hour written exam.
You will receive a NEBOSH Certificate on successful completion of the exam.

NEBOSH InternationalCertificate in ConstructionHealth and Safety

This course is aimed at those with constructionmanagement responsibilities including Supervisors,Managers and duty holders. It is also suitable for peoplewhose role requires them to provide advice on healthand safety in construction work or those concerned withthe management of buildings who need to ensureconstruction contractors are working safely and thosewho use temporary workspaces. Delegates will study keyconstruction issues including CDM 2015 Regulations.
The Construction Certificate is split into three units:
