X INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL CONGRESS*

TRADITIONALLY SUCCESSFULLY PASSED THE CHIEF PHYSICIAN SCHOOL, organized

by the Department of public health service management of the Bogomolets National

Medical University, led by Pariy Valentin. The Medical Directors and their Deputies

reviewed the management of the health enterprise, ensuring the safety of hospitals in

emergency situations, improving staff evaluation in the context of the restructuring of the

health system, the special features of the DGD coding system for multi-hospital treatment

and many other issues.

R E L E V A N T During the conference “COVID-19 is a global challenge to

medicine and society. Lessons. Conclusions. Opportunities for the national health

care system”, organized by the National Medical Council of Ukraine and Ukrainian

Medical Expert Community, a dialogue took place between medical directors, their

deputies and heads of structural units of medical institutions of various medical

profiles.

WITH SUCCESS Scientific-practical conference “Scientific and practical issues of

radiology in Ukraine”, organized by the Department of Radiology of the Shupyk National

Healthcare University of Ukraine, was held, which brought together a full hall of listeners.

In addition, the conference was broadcast on-line, which allowed specialists to join the

dialogue and listen to interesting reports.

AT IMF ONLY ALL-UKRAINIAN SCHOOL OF ULTRASOUND AND

FUNCTIONAL DIAGNOSTICS: it is better to see once than hear a hundred times.

Under the leadership of Dynnik Oleg, school participants learned about new

approaches to ultrasound elastography and liver stoichiometry, a protocol for lung

ultrasound in the diagnosis of COVID-19, skin ultrasound in aesthetic medicine.

Business companies demonstrated their modern equipment in action, innovative

developments and novelties to the students of the school. The organizers of the

school were: Ukrainian Association of Ultrasound Diagnostics Specialists, LMT

Group of Companies, market companies.

TRADITIONALLY Specialists of the emergency medical service, medical workers of

ambulance and emergency medical teams, admissions departments of hospitals have

gathered Symposium “Current issues of emergency medicine and disaster medicine”,

which this year took place online and offline format. The organizers of the event were:

Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine (Department of Emergency Medical

Conditions, Department of Emergency Medicine and Military Medical Training); Center of

Emergency Medical Help and Disaster Medicine of Kyiv city; Kharkiv Medical Academy

of Postgraduate Education (Department of Emergency Medicine and Disaster Medicine);

Zaporizhzhya Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education (Department of Emergency

Medicine and Civil Protection); All Ukrainian Association of ambulance workers, medicine

of emergency and disaster medicine, APO; Kyiv City Clinical Hospital of First Aid.

ІІ INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON LABORATORY MEDICINE*

AT ICLM ONLY On the second day of the

congress, there was an authoritative practical

event – UKRAINIAN LABORATORY SCHOOL, led

by Gavrilenko Tetyana, where masters classes

were held on the operating equipment with

the possibility of testing, advice and practical

nuances of use, and qualified advice from

industry experts. 12 masterclasses were held in

various.

TRADITIONALLY The heads of the CDL, laboratory medicine specialists, the board

and members of the ACCLMU, the chairmen of the regional cells of the ACCLMU were

gathered by a two-day scientific-practical conference “State and prospects for the

development of laboratory medicine in Ukraine”, organized by the Department of Clinical

Laboratory Diagnostics of the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine; NGO

“Association of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine of Ukraine”. The conference

addressed topical issues of training laboratory medicine specialists, modern challenges in

the context of combating the COVID-19 pandemic, urgent problems of modern laboratory

diagnostics, modern technologies in laboratory medicine and many others. The event

was sponsored by STARLAB.

UNIQUE Successfully held a round table

“Point of sampling of medical laboratory in the

management system in accordance with the

requirements of DSTU EN ISO 15189: 2015”,

organized by the Educational-Methodical Center

“International School of Technical Legislation

and Quality Management (ISTL)”, LLC. In the

first part, the participants discussed the topic

“Preanalytical processes of a medical laboratory

in accordance with the requirements of DSTU

ENISO15189: 2015. Requirements for the

sampling point of a medical laboratory”, and

in the second part of the round table work in

groups on the topic“ Internal factors affecting

the quality of the work of a medical laboratory,

in particular a sampling point of a medical

laboratory” took place. All participants of the

round table received an ISTL CERTIFICATE with

the qualification “Quality manager of a medical

laboratory in accordance with the requirements

of DSTU EN ISO 15189: 2015”.

WITH SUCCESS Specialists of the national blood system, laboratory doctors, doctors

of all specialties who are involved in the organization of a transfusion service in health

care institutions and the provision of services for the transfusion of blood components

were gathered by the Professional school with international participation “Applied issues

of the activities of subjects of the blood system and the provision of transfusion care”,

organized by the Kyiv City Blood Center, CNE, of the executive body of the Kyiv City

Council (Kyiv City State Administration); Department of Hematology and Transfusiology of

the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine; SI “Ukrainian Center for Transplant

Coordination of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine”; Association of Blood Service of

Ukraine, Ukrainian Public Organization; Institute of Hematology and Transfusiology of

the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, SI. The conference addressed the issues

of standardization and quality of procurement, processing, testing and storage of donor

blood and blood components, transfusion care in a healthcare institution and applied

issues of related areas.
