13th Premium Day Sweden & Martina: all the opportunities you cannot miss

SIMPLIFYING: The pre-congress courses will illustrate the minimally invasive techniques in the surgical and prosthetic field, which can be more easily accepted by the patient, in a social-economic context which often influences the treatment plan. GETTING INSPIRED: In the plenary session the great personalities of the Italian periodontology, implantology and prosthodontics will share their experience with the public, analysing the different treatment options, each one according to their own technique and showing how precise and proven protocols can lead to a predictable and repeatable therapeutic success. SOLVING: After forty years from the birth of modern implantology, the dental clinician has often to solve problematic situations coming from limits and errors inherited from the past. In this perspective and on the basis of the scientific literature, some of the possibilities of retreatment nowadays consolidated will be dealt with, often using the contribution of the disciplines related to implantology. INNOVATING: the real possibilities given by new technologies, from the guided implantology to the integrated digital workflow, will be extensively examined oppure analyzed. But innovation will cover all the aspects of the clinical practice, with particular attention on new implant morphologies and new approaches to the traditional treatment protocols, in line with the innovative trend always followed by Sweden & Martina in the research and development of new products. TEAM-WORKING: The Premium Day represents an important training opportunity for the whole team, thanks to the sessions dedicated to dental technicians, dental hygienists and dental assistants. In particular, the same aesthetic approach presented by the dental clinicians in the plenary section will be handled from the technical point of view, so that the communication between the two operational fields makes the clinical procedures easier and faster.

Sweden & Martina has announced the 3rd Prize Roberto Cornelini in order to compete a poster on implantoprosthetic themes (for example management of the soft and hard peri-implant tissues, regeneration techniques, use of new digital technologies, new surgical and/or prosthetic protocols etc.) must be submitted to the Examination Committee.

Gala Dinner

The gala dinner will take place on Friday 12th June at 7.45pm, in the park of Sweden & Martina headquarters in Due Carrare (PD).As a moment of entertainment and conviviality among all the participants, with the presence of all the Sweden & Martina staff, this night has become over the years a party, demonstrating once again how the company’s management evaluates and cares about the relationships, as opportunity of growth and exchange of experiences.

The Gala Dinner of the Premium Day is a party, not a formal dinner.It is an opportunity both to feel as a part of a professional and trustworthy group and to have fun. The Renato Micaglio live band will cheer up and entertain the guests.

The Band is directed by the musician Renato Micaglio, a professional renown to the public because of his work in the most famous clubs in Italy and Europe, but most of all because he organized the music entertainment for lots of international events.

Palazzo della Ragione was the ancient headquarters of the Padua civil court. It was erected in 1218 and raised in 1306 by Giovanni degli Eremitani, who gave it the characteristic roof in the form of an upturned hull of a ship. The upper floor is occupied by the biggest “elevated hall” of the world, the so called “Salone” ( 81m x 27 meters big with a height of 27 meters) with wood ceiling with the shape of a ship hull. It is a part of the Town Hall. Emblem of the city, it contributed to revolutionise the building concept of the Middle Ages, and in fact it has no equal in the Italian civil architecture.

The original frescos, which were attributed to Giotto, were destroyed by the fire in 1420. The Salone is frescoed by a magnificent cycle of frescos with astrological subject (completed between 1425 and 1440) based on the studies of Pietro d´Abano.

In the hall there is a huge wood horse, a copy of the Renaissance of the monument of Gattamelata made by Donatello; recently a corner of the hall has been assigned to host a Focault pendulum to underline the indissoluble connection between Padua and science. With its simple and severe nobility and popular greatness, Palazzo della Ragione rose in the middle of a squares´ system, Piazza delle Erbe and Piazza della Frutta, where the market took place. As ideal connection to its original function it is physically connected to the Town Hall in its east side.
