Objective:i. To draw up key policies and strategies in guiding the development of Iskandar Malaysia in mitigatingcarbon emission. Transforming Iskandar Malaysia into a sustainable low carbon metropolis byadopting green growth strategies/roadmap.
ii. To respond to the nation’s aspiration for ensuring climate-resilient development for sustainability.

Sponsorship: JICA & Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST)
Period: 2011 - 2016
Research Output:1. Develop Methodology to create LCS scenarios that is suitable for Malaysia;
2. Create LCS scenarios ->>> applied to policy development in Iskandar Malaysia;
3. Quantify co-benefits of LCS policies on air pollution and recycling-based society in IM; and
