This crank operated blind is extremely robust and comes with strong steel side guide wires as standard which allow stop the blind moving excessively. This blind is built to last, even in the harshest conditions and has a 10 year guarantee. The roller tube is a strong and robust design extruded from steel to provide a rigid barrel which will resist deflection. Heavy weight mesh and greyout fabrics are the prime applications for class, IT and science areas. The blind brackets, hembar and side guide wire brackets are manufactured from high grade aluminium which is then coated in a durable polyester powder-coat. The blind hembar is an extruded aluminium weight bar which can be given additional weight with steel weight bars to allow the blinds to run in excess of 20˚ from the vertical. The crank operation mechanism is manufactured from steel and is a sealed and tamper-proof unit to increase life. The side guide wires are plastic coated 3.3mm steel and are anchored at the top with a compression spring and at the foot with a robust steel sill or wall fix bracket.
