War• War is a behavior pattern of organized

violent conflict, typified by extreme aggression, societal disruption, and high morality. This behavior pattern is found in many primate species, including humans.

• Wars are as old as the development of the first civilizations.

• Dating to as early as 12,000 years ago One half of the people found in a Nubian cemetery had died of Violence.

• The causes for war are endless but can be generalized into three categories.– Political– Economical– Religious

• As the World advances technologically, the Wars become more deadly with deadlier weapons.

• Throughout History, every Nation’s goal has been to wield the strongest weapon to have power over other Nations.

Persian Wars

• A series of conflicts between the Achaemenid Empire of Persia and city-states of the Hellenic world.

• Started in 499 BC and lasted until 449 BC.

Roman Wars

ROME

• Rome was founded by murder of Remus, by his own brother Romulus who became the first ruler of Rome.

• Since its foundation, Rome had been undefeated in war until 386 BC.

• In 386 BC it was briefly occupied by the Gauls.• In the same year Romans recovered their city back. • Romans constantly Fought Wars throughout the
