Halloween is celebrated on October 31 every year. It is believed that Halloween is related to souls of dead people. Halloween parties are famous with various names like All Hallows' Eve, All Saints' Eve, Hallowe'en, Samhain, The Feast of the Dead, The Day of Dead.

It is festival of ancient celtic Harvest festival of “Samhain” of Ireland and ancient Britain. This is day when dead people are remembered. This festival is completely dedicated to dead people. This is also called Samhain which means end of Harvest season and beginning of winter of Darkness half of the year.

In Halloween party celebrations include Trick-or-treating, Costume Parties, Jack-o'-lanterns, lightning bonfires, apple bobbing, watching horror movies etc. In Trick-or-treat children dressed up in different costumes and went from home to home to ask for a treat or trick.

Jack-O'-lantern is related to phenomenon ignis fatuus which means “Foolish Fire” and known as will-o'-the-wisp. Spirits of dead people visit their homes and all kind of ghosts were believed to be roaming around. Every year 99 % of pumpkins sold are used as Jack-o'-lanterns at Halloween eve.
