| The INTERBOOT highly appeals to watersports enthusiasts. The visitors are not just “curious“, but have a real interest.
Ivo Herzog, CEO, Herzog Marinecenter AG:“We have had positive results at the INTERBOOT 2013. We were able to make a lot of interesting contacts, which have resulted in some business. We are satisfied and are looking to the future with optimism. We will be back at the INTERBOOT next year.“
Gerhard Schöchl, CEO, Sunbeam Yachts Schöchl Yachtbau GmbH:“The INTERBOOT has always been a good show. The visitors are in a positive mood. The organization of the show is very good and the team exudes warmth. Our business success here has been positive in two respects - first because the sales themselves have been satisfactory and second because they have been evenly distributed among our customers from Austria, Switzerland and Germany. You can see that the entire region here in the south is in a positive mood.“ Gregor Zurfluh, CEO, Fallenbach Werft AG, (Dufour/Seascape):“So far, we are pleased with how this year’s show went. Although it felt like less was happening during the week, the right customers were here. They were interested and ready to buy. We already sold our largest boat, the Dufour 500, during the show. I consider that a good sign, especially for boats in our size class. We have been coming to the INTERBOOT for over 30 years and for us it is the most important show for our Swiss customers.“
At the INTERBOOT at the Lake of Constance we present your pro-
ducts and services amidst one of the most popular watersports areas
of Europe. The fact that you are in the centre of markets with a
high purchasing power, makes the location even more attractive.
Its direct catchment area includes the countries Liechtenstein, Swit-
zerland, Austria, as well as Southern Germany. About 14.3 million
people with an above-average available income, compared to the
rest of Europe, live here. The INTERBOOT compels through visitors
who are interested in watersports and also have the financial possi-
bilities to invest in their passion.
The majority of international visitors comes from Switzerland
which has the highest concentration of boats in relation to the
number of inhabitants, by the way, with 100,000 licensed sports
boats. The fact that so many watersports enthusiasts from neigh-
bour countries visit the INTERBOOT, is not least due to the close
cooperation of the INTERBOOT with the Swiss Boat Builders Associa-
tion (SBV).
David Clavadetscher, Managing Director of the Swiss Boatbuilders Association:“Fundamentally, the Swiss exhibitors at the INTERBOOT are very satisfied. As in the past, we have continued to notice how many well-qualified Swiss visitors we have here at the show. Interested buyers tend to visit during the week. The expo’s supporting program with the Trade Fair Lake and the INTERBOOT Harbor are a delight for exhibitors and visitors alike. With its efforts to encourage the next generation, ‘Cash for Tricks’ and the INTERBOOT youth camp, the INTERBOOT has set the right course.“ Peter Grimm, Member of the management and co-owner, Brunnert-Grimm AG:“The INTERBOOT is always at the right time of the year, first because the customers take the positive feelings of summer with them and because it gives us enough time to deliver the boats that are ordered right on schedule for the start of the 2014 season. In 2013, like every year, we saw strong interest from the public with a high proportion of trade visitors who weren’t just interested in looking but were very inquisitive, which is why we are expecting some business to come out of the show once it’s over. I estimate that there were more Swiss at the show this year than last year. For our company, the INTERBOOT remains the most important event outside of our shipyard. We feel very comfortable here in Friedrichshafen and interested members of the public as well as existing customers enjoy coming to visit us here at the show.“
| The INTERBOOT 2013, with its fair and harbour combination, was well-visited.
Patric Polch, CEO, Boote Polch KG:“We are satisfied with the show. The visitors were interested and there were a lot of Swiss guests at our stand. We also noticed that a lot of sail boaters visited the motorboat halls, which is great for us, because our products are also well-loved by sail boaters who want to switch over to motor boating. Our experience here at the INTERBOOT has been one of a very professional and warm expo team - from the parking attendant to the head of the expo.“
The comfort of the Friedrichshafen fair, the architecture, the
modern infrastructure, as well as the dedicated and personal
service militate in favour of the INTERBOOT. Among others, the in-
ternational watersports exhibition owes its inimitable atmosphere
to its location within the scenic region of the Lake of Constance.
But for us, the Lake of Constance is more than just a nice scenery.
The INTERBOOT harbour at the lake is an integral part of the fair
concept – as a 535 square kilometres big watersports test area of a
class of its own.
With more than 100 berths, the INTERBOOT harbour offers
numerous exhibitors the possibility to present their products not
only in the exhibition halls, but also in their natural element,
the water. Here you can demonstrate novelties and product bene-
fits under real conditions or invite interested people to an ample
trial trip. Spectacular sports and show events in the harbour area
and along the whole Friedrichshafen lake front provide for a high
media coverage and a high volume of visitors. Experiencing top-
class watersports that closely is a unique feeling!
Goran Pitesa, Sales Director, Bavaria Yachtbau GmbH:“All in all, we are satisfied with the response at both stands - in the motorboat and in the sailboat areas. Our expectations were met from the dealer as well as the visitor side. The market here in the south is picking up again slightly. The cooperation with Messe Friedrichshafen is excellent. The INTERBOOT radiates a good atmosphere.“
Ed Houben, Sales Engineer, Linssen Yachts:“This year we are very satisfied with the visitor numbers and also with the quality of the guests. Sales are certain to result from this show, I’m sure of that. We are also very pleased with the exhibition hall planning at the INTERBOOT. Every visitor gets his money’s worth here. Friedrichshafen is a very high-quality show for us.“
