ENGAGEMENT JANUARY – FEBRUARY 2018 Inter-Cultural Youth Council
Islamabad have chosen four programs, out of Sustain Development
Goals (SGDs) 2030 set by United Nations to redress the root causes
and basic needs of the people. In this connection, the Youth
Council is working for Peace, Environment which is its regular
programs. Last year Youth Council touch its health program and our
youth donated 85 bloods packs to an NGO working for blood affairs.
From January 2018 the Youth Council decided to work in health
program also. A Medical Doctors team of Noman Umer Medical Hospital
(working on private sector) G.T. Road Mandra, Tehsil Gujar Khan,
District Rawalpindi, were contacted the undersigned, Coordinator
Inter-Cultural Youth Council and informed him that they would like
to start a medical camp at Village Bhatta but they have no space to
start it. Since the undersigned living at Islamabad a capital of
Pakistan
and his house at his native Town Bhatta, Tehsil Gujar Khan, is
lying vacant and a very huge space is there to make this Medical
Camp there. So they were provided this space for Free Medical Camp.
This was the first Free Medical Camp arranged by Youth Council on
7th January, 2018. The team comprises of Raja Ramzan, Coordinator,
One Male Specialist Doctor, one Female Doctor, one Nurse and a male
dispensary. They have treated more than 55 male and female patients
there and provided free medicines to them. During the course of
their treatment the undersigned make a telephone call and ask them
if they are ready to continue their program than I will provide a
better space and will provide my services if they need. They were
agreed to work with the Inter-Cultural Youth Council,
Islamabad.
VISIT TO SWABI REGARDING PROVISION OF TREE PLANTS FROM
PAKISTAN TOBACO, SWABI NURSARY ON 05-02-2018 The Coordinator
Inter-Cultural Youth Council Islamabad visited on 05-02-2018 to see
Mr. Sikandar, Caretaker of Pakistan Tobacco Plants Nursary, Swabi.
He has requested the Swabi Nursary to provide 15000 tree plants in
this year 2018. They accepted his request and promise to send the
different plants in the year 2018. On 15-02-2018 the Coordinator
submitted his application for provision of 30000 plants in the
year
2018 to Pakistan Tobacco, Islamabad Nursery. They have accepted
his request and after approval they will provide maximum plants to
Youth Council for tree plantation in the year 2018. The Coordinator
Youth Council also written letter to Mr. Baitullah Khan, Leaf
Department, Pakistan Tobacco, Kunjah, Gujrat to provide 30000
plants for the year 2018 for tree plantation for different areas of
Tehsil Gujar Khan earmarked by him.
MEETING WITH SYED MAKHDOOM ABBAS SHAH HAMDANI AT PANGHALI
SHARIF
REGARDING FREE MEDICAL CAMP AND TREE PLANTATION CAMPAIGN After
seeing great interest of Noman Umer Medical Hospital, I have
planned to discuss the matter with Makhdoom Abbas Shah Hamdani,
Astana Alia, Panghali Sharif, he is the Chairman of that Astana
Alia and a renowned social worker. So I have telephonically
approached with him and have arranged a meeting with him on
13-02-2018 at Panghali Sharif. During the course of discussion I
have requested him, if you permit the Youth Council Islamabad, it
can arrange a Free Medical Camp at Panghali Sharif. He was very
happy to hear this proposal and allowed to go a head. I also
suggested him that this Free Medical Camp will be organized in

the name of Syed Zia Muhammad Shah Hamdani Free Medical Camp. It
was unanimously approved. It was also discussed about the
plantation of 50000 plants in the srounding area of Mazar Sharif of
Panghali Sharif. Makhdoom sahib appreciated the idea given by Mr.
Ahmad Hussain. After getting permission from Makhdoom Abbas Shah
Hamdani, the undersigned approached Raja Muhammad Ramzan, Chief
Organizer of Noman Umer Hospital, G.T. Road Mandra about the Free
Medical Camp at Panghali Sharif. He was very happy to hear this
news and accepted this program without any hesitation. So I have
informed the
program to Makhdoom Abbas Shah Hamdani and decided to make this
camp a success.
INAUGURATION OF FIRST SYED ZIA MUHAMMAD SHAH HAMDANI FREE
MEDICAL CAMP
ON 18-02-2018 AT PANGALI SHARIF, TEHSIL GUJAR KHAN, DISTT.
RAWALPINDI. Inter-Cultural Youth Council Islamabad have organized
first Zia Muhammad Shah Hamdani Free Medical Camp at Pangali
Sharif, in active collaboration of Noman Umer Hospital Mandra,
which is running on private capacity on 18-02-2018. On 18-02-2018
the undersigned was asked by Syed Makhdoom Abbas Shah Hamdani to
reach at Panghali Sharif before time not later than 10.00 a.m. So I
have planned to reach there along with President Inter-Cultural
Youth Council Mr. Ummar Ahmed, and Mr. Haris Ahmad, Secretary
Sports reached at 10.00 AM. there. The team were warm welcomed by
the honorable Syed Makhdoom Abbas Shah Hamdani and happy to receive
them. After that, a team of Noman Umer Hospital was reached in time
at Panghali Sharif on 18-02-2018. The team were welcomed a number
of personalities along with Makhdoom Abbas Shah Hamdani. They were
shown their site to make the camp a success. At the site,
two patient beds were arranged left and right side of the room
and doctors sitting arrangement. Dispenser
was given a space to serve the patient with free medicines as
per prescription of the Doctors. A well-managed and well-organized
Inauguration Ceremony of Zia Muhammad Shah Hamdani Free Medical
Camp was organized at Panghali Sharif. About 200 persons of
surrounding localities were invited to attend this inaugural
ceremony.

officials and other dignitaries to
attend and preside over the function. The following were

In augural address Syed Makhdoom Abbas Shah Hamdani, Chairman
Darbar Alia Panghali Sharif said that services to redress the needy
people were recognized in the last day and Almighty Allah will
award them at the time of last day. Services of humanity is a great
work and Islam ordered the
people to do better for the humanity. He invited the
Philanthropists to come forward and redress the genuine grievances
of the deserving people without discrimination. They must serve out
of their wealth to the needy human being. Dr. Ejaz Nazir, Director,
PIMS in his presidential address said that He is very happy to
visit here and seen the arrangement for Free Medical Camp and
congratulated Noman Umer Hospital Mandra who have successfully
organized this camp in a befitting manner. He also congratulated
Inter-Cultural Youth
Council’s Coordinator Mr. Ahmad Hussain, who have arranged this
Camp in collaboration with Noman Umer Hospital. He also
congratulate the Khair-ul-Kaseer Welfare Society who provided the
space for this noble camp. Dr. Ejaz also offer his free services
regarding some chronic diseases tests free of cost
from the PIMS Islamabad. Coordinator (Mr. Ahmad Hussain)
Inter-Cultural Youth Council, Islamabad during his address said
that he is very happy and welcome the audience and other
dignitaries, chief Guest who have made this event a success. He
told the audience that this camp will be in a permanent footings
and every Sunday it will operate regularly. Year 2018 was fixed for
this purpose. He also thanked the Noman Umer Hospital, its
organizer, doctors and other officials who make the even success.

continuous program of Panghali Sharif while they also started to
provide Free Medical Treatment to the
Masses. During the course of addressing, Mr. Ahmad Hussain,
Coordinator Intercultural Youth Council also announced to provide
50,000 tree plants to Panghali Astana Alia area which is 150 kanals
land
lying for this purpose. It include 2000 plants for Grave Yard of
Panghali Sharif. The pants were
planted during the year 2018 and will continue till its final
plant. Other personalities addressed the gathering are Ch. Javed,

Mandra. Very remarkable Services by the Doctors of Noman Umer
Hospital Mandra along with their helping official were provided to
the patients. It was appreciated by all the participants. The
patients were treated with honorably and patiently. They were happy
to take medicines free of cost. They thanked the Noman Umer
Hospital and Syed Makhdoom Shah Hamdani who have arranged this
noble free medical camp. They also thanked Inter-Cultural Youth
Council Islamabad who have arranged this camp in collaboration with
Khair-ul-Kaseer Welfare
Society, Panghali Sharif. On that day 108 Patients were operated
as OPD and some were advised to make some minor tests about their
disease. In future some tests will be provided by Noman Umer
Hospital in a nominal charges by the Patients which were
appreciated by all the participants In the end the Camp was
inaugurated to CUT A FEETA by Syed Makhdoom Shah Hamdani, Chairman,
Astana-i-Alia Panghali Sharif, Dr. Ejaz Nazir, Director PIMS,
Islamabad, Mr. Ahmad Hussain, Coordinator Youth Council, and other
guests of honour and witnessed the occasion. Syed
Sultan Hamdani was invited to pray the success of this medical
camp. After conclusion, a well organized Eastern Hospitality Lunch
was served by the organizers of this camp. On 21-02-2018 the
Coordinator, Youth Council visited Rao Adnan, Social Welfare
Officer, Government of the Punjab, Tehsil Gujar Khan. This
invitation was made by Raja Sultan Mehmood, Chairman, Mother
Welfare Foundation, Gujar Khan which is a well known organization
and working for the welfare of poor and needy people. Rao Adnan a
young and charming personality was briefed about the Youth Council
program specially its environment program in Tehsil Gujar Khan. He
was very happy to hear and welcome warmly and appreciated the tree
plantation program. It was also informed about the Peace pole. He
welcome the idea and decided to

provide two Peace Pole written “May Peace Prevail on Earth”
written in four languages. Same day the Coordinator also met with
Raja Irfan, Daispardais T.V. Channel and Chairman, Mother Welfare
Foundation, Gujar Khan. They have asked telephonically as well as
in writing to provide them 5000 plants for planting in different
schools and graveyards. They named it GREEN Gujar Khan.
SECOND WEEK OF FREE MEDICAL CAMP ARRANGED ON 25-02-2018
As decided previously by the Noman Umer Hospital Mandara, that
they will permanently organize Free Medical Camp at Panghali
Sharif. A second Medical Camp was accordingly arranged at Panghali
Sharif, the doctors were warm welcomed by Sahibzada Jabar Ali Shah
Hamdani, Sajada Nasheen of Pangali
Sharif and Makhdoom Abbas Shah Hamdani.In this week OPD 112
patients including male, female and children were operated. It was
also decided to get medical tests facility in the next week at the
door step of Medical Camp with nominal charges.
