Multiple Entries

Often required with Medical Explanation of Benefits, ImageRamp lets you enter multiple index values for a single scan to index the same document as multiple documents without rescanning.

Preserve Index Values

A new setting has been added to the Index options allowing users to retain index values between scans avoiding needless recapture if the index values are the same.

Date/Numeric Data Types and

Date Picker

New data type validation can designate fields as date or numeric restricting them to specific character entries alleviating wrongful entry.

A date picker is added to date configured field indexes.

Multi-line Notes Indexing

A new data type (Notes) has been added to the field definitions, enabling a larger input area for user data entry.

A splitter control allows resizing the text input box for more input.

Mixed Mode Delimiters

Often, barcodes contain multiple delimiters that need to be used to distinguish different index fields. In this example, a dash "-" and a comma "," are used to separate patient record data.

Performance Improvement

A new setting restricts the searching for barcodes to specific regions of the document including the top third as shown. Recognition performance is improved up to two to three times when barcodes regions are indicated.

Barcode reading can be difficult on poor quality images. But, scanning to grayscale can greatly improve the accuracy. A new PDF Output option scans and processes barcodes in grayscale yet saves the output to black and white, providing greater accuracy and lower file sizes. BARCODES

Users can now save documents to secure and non-secure FTP sites. Secure sites can also use PassPhrases or a private key file to provide authentication requirements.

ImageRamp can now directly scan into the Dentrix Document Center and is certified by Dentrix under the Dentrix Developer Program
