MAGTF Intel Analyst• Job Description: Reduce commander’s uncertainty in
order to aid decision making.
• Required skills:– Conduct basic research on Weather, Enemy, and Terrain.– Excellent oral and written skills.– Teamwork, collaboration, and networking.– Proficiency with IOS FOS software, Microsoft Office (Word,
Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and Microsoft SharePoint.
• Preferred skills:– Develop and maintain an Analytic Line.– Predicative Analysis.– Leadership, Training, and Mentorship skills.

• Basic Analysis (More value)– Trend analysis, Threat Matrix, TTPs
• Predicative Analysis (Most value)– Enemy COA

Analysis Example
Event: Patrol receives indirect fire.
• Information (Some value)– Time, location of event, type of weapon system
• Basic Analysis (More value)– Pattern of activity in that area– What enemy unit?– What TTPs were used?
• Predicative Analysis (Most value)– What will the enemy do next time we patrol there?– When/where will the next attack occur?
