High Level Goals• Long term goals
– Growing of Science Fair – building regional professional network and increase the number of participants
– Implementation of science education concept within the national Education and Research Strategy/ies
– Synchronization of the science fairs and other science events promoting creative and knowledge based thinking in schools (Olympiads, etc.)
• Short term goals– Affiliation to ISEF 2013– Merging the resources of the two young talents science fairs in
Bulgaria – Ministry of Education, Youth and Science Young Talents Fair and Club of Young Scientists Innovation and Knowledge Fair
– Teachers’ Training on science education

Expected results:
• Bulgarian participation in ISEF 2013• Student participation in science fairs increase of
30% over a three-year period• Creating a pool of mentors – 20 for 6 planning
regions in the country next 3 years• Promotion of STEM curriculum resources in 10
pilot chosen secondary schools• Setting up of a National Young Scientists Fair
under the patronage of the MEYS and the support of CYS, CCTA, Bulgarian academy of sciences and other interested stakeholders
• Attracting 5 sponsors/donors for the Fair and 2 media partners
