INTRODUCTION
LIFT-NET© VoIPIndicating Master Station
The LIFT-NET© VoIP Indicating Master Station is a next-generation SIP telephone that is full of features and is easy to use. This unit features intuitive user interfaces, such as: four individual lines, dual 10/100mbps Ethernet ports, graphical LCD display, and a secure central configuration. This unit combines feature functionality with the latest technology to offer excellent audio quality and operate similar to a standard multi-lined telephone. The LCD screen displays: date, time, location of incoming call, and call in progress caller ID.
The Indicating Master Station consists of:- One Main Chassis- One Handset- One Coiled Phone Cord- One Universal Power Adaptor- One Ethernet Patch Cable
Connecting the Indicating Master Station1. Connect the handset and main chassis with the coiled phone cord2. Connect the LAN port of the phone to an RJ-45 socket of a network switch using the Ethernet patch cable provided.3. Connect the 5v DC output plug to the power jack on the main chassis then plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet.4. The LCD will display the units status, station name, and time/date.

- When an INCOMING call, from one of the car stations, has been placed the phone will ring and the callers location will be displayed on the LCD screen.
Simply pick up the handset from it’s cradled position to initiate the call.
- To initiate an OUTGOING call simply: take the handset from it’s cradled position/initiate the speakerphone function, select an available “LINE” key, use the keypad
to enter the desired (station or car) number, and then press the “SEND” key.

- When a LIFT-NET Indicating Master Station or Machine Room Station is located in a noisy environment a “Push-To-Talk” button may be
provided on the handset.
- PRESS the PTT Button when SPEAKING- RELEASE the PTT Button when LISTENING
To initiate a CONFERENCE call- Initiate a call on LINE 1 or any other available LINE.- Press the CONF key.- Select an available LINE (2, 3, or 4) and dial the third parties number- Once the third party is initiated press the CONF key againto join the three parties. - To end the conference call, terminate in the normal manner. *NOTE: the party that initiates the conference call must remain inthe conference for the entire duration

To Redial The Last Number Called- Pick the handset up from it’s cradled position,or initiate the speakerphone function.
- Press an available “LINE” key.
- Press the “SEND/RE-DIAL” key.

To Terminate A Call- Place the handset back in it’s cradled position,after several seconds the call will terminate.
- To end the call immediately or when using thespeakerphone function, press the STAR key (*)and then the Zero key (0) while holding the“Push-To-Talk” Button (if applicable).

To answer a new “INCOMING” call while a call is currently “IN-PROGRESS”- The next available LINE will ring for the new INCOMING call.- Press the HOLD key to place the current LINE on HOLD- Press the appropriate LINE key (1, 2, 3, or 4) of the new INCOMING call to answer.
To initiate a new “OUTGOING” call while a call is currently “IN-PROGRESS”- Press the HOLD key to place the current LINE on HOLD.- Press the appropriate LINE key (1, 2, 3, or 4) of the new OUTGOING call.- Use the keypad to enter the desired station or car number.- Press the SEND key or wait a few seconds for the call to automatically connect.

Caller ID Memory- Press the MENU key to bring up the main menu.using the Up/Down arrow key, select CALL HISTORY.Then select ether Received Calls/Missed Calls/ DialedCalls and then select the number you wish to use.By pressing the MENU key you will select the desirednumber, pressing it again will dial that number.
Display Phone Book- Press the MENU key (circular button by the arrowkeys) to display the phone book. Then use theUP/DOWN arrow keys to scroll the selections. Pressthe MENU button to select the item. Keep in mind thatthe “←” key will return you to the main menu.
