company current data bases and / or of the custom brokers, to the SCI

Server system data base as well as:

To Validate and keep information that will be entered to the SCI

In this module you can find the options to make the interface of import and

export motion. These options will be subdivided as well, into headings,

invoices and the corresponding allocations.

Headings.- For the headings, the possible actions:

o New heading. Read a file containing heading information in a

given period, which must be configured by the user.

o Existing heading. Choose a period that is already entered into

the system and that is in any stage of the process of interface, in

order to be able to give it the appropriated maintenance.

Invoices.- For the invoices the possible actions are:

o New invoices. Read a file containing invoicing information in a

given period, which will be configures by the user.

o Existing invoices. Choose a period that s already entered into

the system and that is in any stage of the process of interface, in

order to be able to give it the appropriated maintenance.

•Ability to identify part numbers, products, customers and suppliers, aswell as concepts such as customs brokers, codes and customs that arenot currently controlled by the SCI Server system.

•Clear identification and segregation of the correct and incorrect information, using the last one for its analysis and correction.

•Total handling of the read, validated and in process of validation values, for their partial or complete change as well as for records addition or deletion.

•Agreement of input and output units with the units of material cards.

•Ability of exporting information to Excel in all stages with the possibility of reusing the information for other departments or requirements.

•User-friendly and easily understandable screens.

General Features

•Ability to determine differences in amounts, meaning that the amountof declared invoices do not correspond to the motion.

•Validation of the invoice dates, measurement units and duplication ofitems.

• Identification at the release of subassemblies.

Entries/Releases

•Review effective dates to avoid overlaps or periods withoutconsumptions or with duplications.

•Automatic adjustment of open effective dates.

•Review of losses and waste in order for them to remain below 100%.

•Subassemblies identification.

Interpretation

•Correct format of the motion, correct tariff codes and dates.

•Types of data required must not be null.

•Numeric data types higher than 0.

Validation

• Suppliers, customers, part numbers, products, measurement units, tariff and customs brokers codes, must exist in SCI Server system.

•The date type fiedls shouldn't surpass today's date.

•The item in process of being integrated shouldn't exist in the SCI Server.

Integration

• Information is integrated to the SCI Server ensuring that data is correct, since check ups of format and comparision with the information that SCI has, were performed. Before checks were performed and compared to format the information in SCI.

Data Flow Description:

1. From DB's we obtain by using files, the invoices, petitions or material

cards according to the established layout.

2. SCI Interface System ensures, through validations and modifications,

the integrity of the information that will be entered, and finally

integrates the validated information to the SCI Server DB.

3. From SCI Server System the entered information can be manipulated,

consulted and downloaded by means of the SCI Interface System SCI.

Operative Requirements:

The plain files must cover the required layout, as well as relevant

comments.

The computer where the interface will operate should have the SCI

Server system properly installed and pre-configured.

Technical Requirements:

Same technical minimum requirements of the SCI Server system and 100 MB

of free disk space for SCI System Interface DB.
