Borehole guide PK2The PK2 borehole guide is an instrument consisting of 2 parts used to accurately determine the position of a borehole. By placing/attaching the transmitter to one side of the wall, using the receiver you can easily determine where the borehole will end up. PK 2's receiver indicates the position of the borehole using sound and red/green arrow-shaped lights. In PK 2's receiver you can immediately see the thickness of the wall in centimetres up to 150 centimetres in depth and easily choose the right drill length. NADIR cable identifierNADIR makes it possible to identify a live low voltage cable and the ID for each phase under load in a trench and at the coupling station’s output point.

A transmitter, connected with secure clips, either between any two phases or between any phase and neutral (for example, at the customer's connection) down-stream from the point in question. The signal generated does not interfere with any network communication system. The transmitter is ventilated and can be shut during use.

A receiver in a polycarbonate box, which also contains a display and button controls. The receiver is connected to the transmitter for cable identification or to a flexible Rogowski coil (MADE-Flex TM) for identifying the phase. The display shows the signal level detected, which enables identification of the desired cable by a higher signal level.

JUPITER cable identification JUPITER is a multi-functional piece of equipment designed to facilitate work involv-ing connecting and replacing cables. JUPITER is used on non-live low or high-volt-age networks and identifies in advance the type of cable on which to work and the phases present in the cable, in a quick and in very reliably manner. The normal method for using JUPITER is: • Confirm cores (L1 is connected to L1 at the other end).• Identify cables in a trench in advance.• Continuity test (which end of the, now cut, cable is connected to the transmitter).• Core identification of the cut cable.

The transmitter needs no external power source as it is self-powered. It sends the signal needed for the various functions sequentially in the cable via the current clips. Current clips are attached around the unshielded cable end.

The receiver is a portable device with connections for up to five sensors to per-form the various functions. Operating mode is automatically selected depending on which sensor is detected.

All results are displayed clearly and unambiguously on the portable device and do not need to be interpreted by the user.
