Cindy Cheng— Piano M.Mus., B.Mus. (Hons) Cindy currently teaches flute and piano at various Primary Schools and has also taught in the State Schools. Her qualifications include an Honours and Masters degree in Bachelor of Music from The Elder Conservatorium of Music, University of Adelaide. Cindy has 15 years of instrumental teaching experience, from teaching in primary and secondary schools to private individual tuition. She provides private lessons as well as group classes, from beginners to AMEB Grade 8. She also prepares students for AMEB examinations up to Grade 8. During the last week of each term, Cindy likes to have a performance exam (usually in the last lesson). Students will be playing songs they have learned for their friends/ family as a reflection of their progress throughout the term. She organises a performance exam for each of her Piano students in order to develop their confidence and performance ability, they require a small audience, thus she usually encourages them to invite 2 or 3 of their friends to attend their performance exam. Cindy feels that a students’ attendance and learning attitude/performance during each lesson affects their overall playing ability. Paul Kaiser—Guitar

For more than 30 years Paul has been successfully tutoring students at a number of Catholic schools and from his home studio located in Modbury.

Paul has performed consistently around the country in national touring bands, TV appearances and multiple radio and recording studio sessions over the years. Most notably, Paul played for 8 years (’91 – ’99) in the national touring act ‘The Zep Boys’.

At present Paul has an original band called ‘Kaiser and the Machines of Creation’ and a cover band 'The Aussie Ausborn Show'.

Paul offers single and group teaching lessons. Students are taught to read music, play songs and have fun learning.

Anthony Sherwood – Drums

Anthony is a highly enthusiastic, energetic and versatile individual who specializes in drums.

Anthony currently teachers drum lessons in a number of Primary and High Schools, ranging in all different skills levels.

Anthony has completed his Bachelor of Music and Diploma of Music at the Adelaide University Conservatory; he has performed at the Adelaide Fringe and the Melbourne Rock Festival. Anthony also performs in a number of bands ranging from jazz, rock and pop.

As a drum teacher, Anthony strives to get the best out of his students while also maintaining the element of enjoyment in music. Students are encouraged to focus and develop their creativity, while also building a strong technical foundation for their playing.
