Instructions to Complete Mandatory CPC+ Quality Improvement Education 1. Go to www.ihi.org and click on the Log In/Register tab in the upper right hand of the screen. 2. Click Register for the Complete Access. 3. Input all fields with a red * next to them. a. Click the Yes box in Terms of Use & Select Teacher/Professor as your Primary Role. 4. Click Register and complete. 5. After you have successfully logged in, go to www.IHI.org/EnterPasscode. 6. Enter the 8-digit passcode XXXXXXX and click the “Get Access” button. 7. A confirmation message will appear, indicating you have joined your group and inviting you into the courses. 8. Go to www.IHI.org/OnlineCourses to start course. 9. Hover over the education tab and click IHI Open School. 10. Go to Online Courses and click Take Courses in the bottom left of screen. 11. It is mandatory for clinical and quality leads for every practice to complete QI 102 and QI 103* by 6/30/2018. a. Each course has about 1-5 lessons, with an estimated time of completion for the entire set of 2 courses of approximately 60 minutes. *NOTE: Registration is free and individuals may complete more than the assigned courses. 12. Once you are in the particular course click Lesson 1 and enter the provided code. 13. Complete all lessons within the course. 14. Complete the exam at the end of the course with a score greater than 80%. 15. After the course is marked as complete the recipient will be able to print their Continuing Education Certificate for their records. 16. Internists: To claim ABIM MOC activity points, go to IHI's central Certificate Center and select "ABIM US Physician CME/MOC." Family Physicians: MOC credits are available but a series of courses must be completed.
