Introduction

5 main objectives:-

To develop national biotechnology information network

To undertake development of database in biotechnology of national importance

To develop human resource development program

To provide the necessary infrastructure, connectivity and resources for bioinformatics

To develop R & D program in biocomputing, genome informatics, molecular modeling and software development
