Installing a desktop

Step 1- Power Supply

You start off by putting the power supply in the allotted slot

The add the screws

Step 2- RAM

Insert the RAM in the allotted slots

Push it down so the clips go in place

Step 3- CPU & Heat SinkPut the gold corner in line with the socket

Put the cover over the cpu then clip the metal bar in place

Put thermal compound on top of the cpu

Put the plug in its socketPut the heat sink on top & push the pins down

Step 4- Motherboard

Insert the mother board in the position shown

Step 5- Adapter cards

Insert the adapter cards in the slots then add the screws

Step 6- Internal drives

Insert the HDD in the position shown then add screw

Step 7- External drives

Insert the two drives in the positions shown then add screws

Step 8- Power cables

Insert the cables in the sockets shown

Step 8 continued- Power cables

Step 9- Pannel

Step 10- External cables

Put all the cables in the position shown
