Can you taste it? Yes you can!

How many times have you watched the TV or listened to the radio and thought...‘You know I’d like to have a go at that’ but then reeled off a list reasons why you’ll never get round to it – too busy, too old, too young, too difficult and well...they just don’t do that round here...do they?

If this has happened to you then - congratulations!! Because by picking up and reading this programme, you’ve taken the first step towards beating those excuses and trying something you might find you enjoy!

Our Inspiring Derby Week programme this year has a fantastic range of events to give you the chance to have a go at that something you’ve been putting off – perhaps it is using that dusty sewing machine or experiencing what choral singing is like? Maybe you’ve seen Chicago and want to dance the Charleston or perhaps you’d just like to keep up with the kids and find out how to use Facebook or Twitter? There is so much variety your problem will be deciding what to try...but no more excuses, make this the start of an adventure into something new now!

I am delighted that yet again we have another great programme and all thanks to the commitment of our partners and Derby organisations who are proud of their city and what to showcase what they do to inspire you to be proud too!

So no more excuses, be inspired, get phoning and get tasting!
