Check that all the modules in the EI Card files of bothsystems are properly inserted & are in correct state andall normal indications on modules are available
Physically check and ensure that wiring,fuses etc are inorder and cable entry holes are properly plugged toavoid lizards,rats etc in all panels and modules of thesystem..
Ensure that the total EI system is clean and itspheripherals are cleaned with blower and brush so that
they are free of dust and dirt
Check that all input supplies 110V DC, 24V DC, 12V DC&5V DC are available in proper limits .Also check thatAC 230V supply for Optg PC & Maint PC from Inverter isavailable in proper limit
Ensure that both the EI systems are in good workingcondition and ensure that the change over arrangementsystem is also functioning
Take Event and Error log report for the system in theMaintenance VDU
a)Ensure the rigid connectivity of ring earth to the EIsystem & the earth value is less than 1ohm.
b)Observe the SPD of all input and out put connectionsfor any burning or damage

PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE CHECK LIST FOR IPS

a)Switch off the SMPS Modules and after 4Hrs take the voltage reading of cells( The Individualcell voltage should not fall below 1.9V and specific gravity should not be less than 1200 )
b)Then switch on the SMPS Modules and see that all modules are on and all are equally sharingthe load .i.e, their voltage and current should be same

a)Ensure the rigid connectivity of earth to the all modules of all the panels of the IPS system &earthing of the armour of power cables

a)Check that all the modules in the SMPS ,ACDP & DCDP Panels are properly inserted & are incorrect state and all normal indications on modules are available
b)Physically check and ensure that wiring,fuses etc are in order and cable entry holes are properlyplugged to avoid lizards,rats etc in all panels and modules of the system..
c)Check the Cleanliness of the total IPS system and its pheripherals and ensure that they arefree of dust and dirt
Checking thefunctioning ofDSCA Module
Check one by one all functions by operating the buttons on key board on the DSCA Module andensure that all are functioning properly& proper indications are displayed on the LCD Screen andensure that all voltage limits are adjusted properly.
d)Check the voltage of each module & keep voltage setting for float and boost to same valuewithin 0.1V

d) Check the input voltage to Inverter display unit and ensure that both the inverters are inworking order.
f) Conduct the automatic load transfer test by switching off the inverters one by one and ensurethat the load is transferring to CVT when both the inverters are switched off.
