ordering platform and Application to Innscor Kenya.

Think Tank will design and develop a custom mobile friendly solution for Innscor Kenya

.The mobile friendly solution will be designed to ultimately drive customer retention and

overall sales for your Outlets.

INTRODUCTION

We welcome the opportunity to build a cutting-edge mobile solution and deploy to

market a mobile app for your firm that will increase sales and customer retention.

Think Tank is a local company established early this year with a primary aim of creating,

developing and integrating mobile solutions. From mobile applications to tablet

applications and also short code and USSD applications. Think Tank delivers mobile

solutions on every platform. We will put you in front of your customers on devices they

access most with information and tools from making it easy for Innscor Kenya to connect

with their mobile audience.

As the country moves to a cashless era, Think Tank has devoted its self to creating

mobile solutions and applications for business process and transactions. Think Tank is

also actively involved in the maintenance of the solutions ensuring a seamless service

delivery to the end user. Since its establishment, the firm has created two major solutions

for the airline sector and Life insurance sector. This are currently been integrated with the

clients existing systems.

The firm has strategically partnered with local firm to best develop and deliver created

party content providers into a mobile operator’s infrastructure at least cost

Safaricom this is Kenya’s largest telecommunication service provider with the

largest customer base and highest number of registered mobile money users.

PROJECT OVERVIEW & OBJECTIVES

The mobile payment solution aims at providing a simple user friendly mobile platform in

which customers or the end user is able to order and pay for their meals from the comfort

their cell phones.

Using the Aid of our Mobile Operators / Telecoms and using their mobile money

infrastructure the solution will be able to reach out to a wider readily available market.

The solution will also see your firm breakthrough into the cashless market this will not

only promote a larger client base but will in turn see the firm’s profits increase

significantly.

The solution will be delivered on a mobile platform using short code SMS or USSD and a

mobile App that users can download on their smartphones. By using the short code

solution, the service will be delivered to both feature phones and smart phone users with

smart phone users having the option of downloading the app.

Our easy to use content management system allows for stunning design, customization

and functionality across a broad range of mobile devices.

DEVELOPMENT STRATEGIES

How it works on Short Code.

Short code is a five digit number (such as 20414), which can be used to both send and

receive messages from users instead of long-form numbers. It is usually an easy to

remember number allowing companies to brand their business more effectively and users

can easily remember the number.

The end user simply sends a blank or word SMS to the agreed upon short code number in

this case let’s use 250250

Once the end user sends an SMS to 250250, the solution automatically prompts a reply in

which the user will follow the step by step instructions in which will eventually lead to

them making an order and paying for it.

Users will also have the option of picking up their orders or have them delivered. Every

picking order shall be specific to an area outlet, while delivery orders shall be made

according to the customer’s location of delivery. E.g. if a customer orders for a pizza to

be delivered at their residents on Ngong Road , once their information is keyed in the

order will Automatically be made and delivered from Pizza In Ngon Road.

How it works on USSD

USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) is a Global System for Mobile(GSM)

communication technology that is used to send text between a mobile phone and an

application program in the network.

USSD is similar to Short code, but, unlike short code, USSD transactions occur during

the session only. With SMS, message can’t be sent to a mobile phone and stored for

several days if the phone is not activated or within range.

How The Mobile Application works

Mobile applications or mobile apps are applications developed for small handheld devices, such

as mobile phones, smartphones, PDAs and so on. Mobile apps can come preloaded on the

handheld device as well as can be downloaded by users from app stores or the Internet.

You can find mobile apps on both feature phones and smartphones. The most popular smartphone

platforms that support mobile apps are Windows Mobile and Android. Apps today are used as a

tool to make life easier with quick instant access to a variety of information, services and

products.

The App will be the simplest and most cost effective way of delivering the service, but will be

limiting to smartphone users only. Users will be able to down load the app form any app store

install it and start using the services.

With the app, users will have a stunning user interface with icons and images to assist them better

order their meal. The app will be easy to use it’s a one click down load one click open and is

always free for customers.

Using similar ordering process as the short code, the App will be synchronized with M pesa via

M pesa’s Lipa na M pesa solution, users will be able to automatically pay for their meals without

exiting the application.

Apps are easy to integrate with your business and your menu will be easily uploaded and

integrated with your existing systems. Outlet locations can be viewed on the map should someone

need directions or proximity to the closest outlet.

Customers will also be able to connect to your social pages eg Facebook, Twitter, Instagarm etc

each time they visit an outlet thus automatically advertising to friends and family.

The greatest benefit of the app is that it has limitless opportunities.

BILLING SCHEDULE

50% deposit establishes project start date and the remaining 50% is due upon

completion.

Monthly dues will occur on a monthly schedule as work has been completed and

expenses are accrued. These monthly dues will be invoiced and payable within

30 days.


TERMS & CONDITIONS

InnScor Kenya is responsible for making additional payments at normal hourly rates for

changes requested that extend beyond the original scope of the project, as detailed. The

developer reserves a 10% margin for time and charges that exceed estimates and informs

the client when time will be exceeded. The client and developer will communicate

directly about any changes that affect cost.

Upon approval of this agreement Innscore Kenya expects that the project will be

completed in approximately ……………………………….. This depends greatly on the

efficiency of receiving all the needed content and how fast a mobile strategy is approved.
