DINGS’ hybrid linear actuators come in eight sizes, ranging from a square frame 14 mm (NEMA 6) to 86 mm (NEMA 34).
There are four form factors available – External, Non-Captive, Electric Cylinder and Kaptive.
DINGS’ provides over 20 different travels/step of lead screws ranging from 0.00006 inch [.001524mm] to 0.005 inch [.127mm]. Microstepping can be used for finer resolution and various step motor angle options are available.

Nut Material Polyacetal or Polybutylene with lubricating additive. Standard is a free-whelling nut (Anti-backlash nut is available)
Wear Life of Screw and Nut Depends on load, speed, duty cycle and environmental factors but typically it is ≥ 5 Million cycles.

Ball Screw Linear ActuatorsDINGS' ball screw linear actuator is available for External from 14mm (NEMA6) to 56mm (NEMA23) sizes with various step resolutions from 0.005mm/step to 0.1mm/step.
External type of ball screw linear actuator is standard and we also offer guide supported high precision linear actuator, DLG Series for 28 & 42mm stepper which enables reduction of mechanical components and help to design miniaturized devices.
For applications requiring higher efficiency, precision, and longer life, DINGS' provides the linear actuators with different grades of ball screws at a reasonable cost.
C7 Rolled ball screw is standard and C5/C3 Griding ball screws are also available.
Transmission efficiency of ball screw nut is 90~96% compare to conventional trapezoidal acme screw plastic nut of 26~70% efficiency so under same load condition, ball screw can use less driving power.
And ball screw nut adopts rolling friction but in case of trapezoidal screw plastic nut adopts sliding friction, the former heat rise is much lower than the latter one, hence in general, ball screw can do high speed transmission task.

Brushless DC Motors
DINGS' provides 4 different sizes of Brushless DC motors have several advantages, including start and speed regulation, higher power density and over load capacity.
From NEMA17 to NEMA34 with power output ranging from 30W to 440W, DINGS' provides 4 frame sizes and according customer's requirements, higher capacity of Brushless DC Motors can be customized.
Brushless DC Motors can be used between stepper and AC Servo as low voltage DC Servo solution. Compare to regular stepper, it can run at high speed up to 3,000RPM without losing running torque as like conventional stepper solution but also compare to AC Servo, Brushless DC motor can be alternative as economic choice for wide range of applications as like Logistic Automation (AGV), office automation, timing belt, packaging, textile industry, food/beverage and others.
DINGS' Brushless DC Motors has an option with basic hall sensors and also incremental encoder up to 10,000PPR to be low voltage DC servo and also gearboxes can be chosen as an option.

DINGS' offers wide range of sizes for VCM (Voice Coil Motor) series from smaller to bigger diameter of dimensional motors.
Based on fixed diameter sizes, DINGS' can customize different stroke compare to other competitors, DINGS' does not fix standard stroke but according to customer's different requirements, DINGS' is freely to customize stroke.
DINGS' provides very low backlash but fast response of voice coil motors with specialized drivers.

DINGS' motion controllers are very specialized for all types of linear actuators includes External, Non-Captive, Captive and Kaptive actuators with encoder (Closed loop) or without encoder (open loop).
For Brushless DC motor, DINGS' provides standard and Mini type of motion controllers via CANOpen and EtherCAT field bus. These combination can be low-voltage DC Servo which can be alternatives for conventional closed loop stepping control system and AC Servo for certain applications.

Summary Closed loop stepping motor systems perfectly resolve the problems of open loop control systems, such as step out and position completion check.
Advantages
1. The back mounted encoder constantly monitors the current position andprevents step out from occurring. If step out does occur due to externalforces or overloading, an alarm signanl will be sent to the host controller.The host controller can than recognize that step out has occurred.
2. Detects current position by encoder feedback, so the torque can be adjustedto match the desired speed and loads.
3. It completely stops when motor stops so hunting dows not occur compare toconventional AC servo. It's very suitable for high speed and short pitchof vision inspection applications.

Intergrated Closed Loop Stepper Technology, with controller and driver at the end of the motor. Using an integrated high resolution encoder (16000 PPR), the real-time motor position is updated every 50. Up to 16 axes can be controlled simutaneously via RS485. All motion commands are executed with parameters saved in Flash ROM. The movement library (DLL) can be used with 64-bit Windows 2000/XP, and can be saved in Flash ROM.
Close-loop stepper motor integrate. At the end of motor drive integrated control system. Including high resolution encoder, every 50 update the motor position in real time. Integrated motion control through the RS485 communication to the computer, also can connected 16 shaft at the same time. All of the moving conditions are performed by a parameter saved in the FLASH ROM. The movement library (DLL) provides the maximum 64-bit program of Windows 2000/XP, can be save in FLASH ROM memory.
DINGS' offers special electronics, DS-BVS series which can operate Brushless DC Motor and Voice Coil Actuators via EtherCAT (CoE, FoE) and CANOpen.Standard DS-BVS Series designed mainly for Brushless DC Motor and Voice Coil Actuators but also it can support DC, PMSM and LSM according to customer's special requirements. Anti-Backlash NutDINGS' provides anti-backlash nut for External linear actuator (except Size 34) and Non-Captive Linear actuator (except Size 23 & 34).
There should be a nominal backlash between lead screw and DINGS' standard plastic nut after millions of cycles.
DINGS' guarantees Max. 5 Millions of cycles but physically backlash can be increased. To reduce and ultimately eliminate backlash, DINGS' provides spring pressure structure of Anti-backlash nut.

Planetary GearboxDINGS' provides totally 6 different sizes and 36 different ratio of planetary gearbox for hybrid rotary stepper motors.
These gearboxes are not zero-backlash based high precision gearboxes and mostly 1° backlash for small steppers 15~25arcmin precision for bigger steppers as NEMA 23 and 24.
If application requires higher torque than precision, very economic version of DINGS' planetary gearboxes can be very good fit into your applications.

Teflon Coated ScrewIf customer's applications require greaseless screw and nut combination, DINGS' offers teflon coated lead screw of stepper linear actuator.
Teflon coated lead screw stepper linear actuator enables it's longer life cycle and better thrust force generation against conventional SUS lead screw.
Teflon coating can be applied in the whole range of lead screw options in DINGS' and all types of linear actuators such as External, Non-Captive, Electric Cylinder and Kaptive.
In addition, Anti-backlash nut also can be combined with teflon coated screw too.
DINGS' also provides manual hand-knob for most of linear actuators.
Pre-setting, Origin movement for other usage, manual hand knob is very convenient for most of customers especially for laboratory, optics, laser also motorized positioning stage applications.
