Fundación ONCE was founded in 1988 by the ONCE (the National Organization of Spanish Blind) as an instrument of cooperation and solidarity from the

of Spanish Blind) as an instrument of cooperation and solidarity from the Spanish blind towards other people with disabilities.
Mission : implement programmes focused on training and employment for people with disabilities, and universal accessibility, promoting the creation of universally accessible environments, products and services.
Since 2000, Fundación ONCE manages the Operational Programme (OP) “Fight against Discrimination” (XTalento), co-financed by of the European Social Fund (ESF ).

with disabilities).
o The disability dimension in CSR represents a competitive advantage over
other companies, specially in terms of image and reputation.

o Promoting diversity : integrating persons with disabilities and their talents in

o Promoting a more inclusive society –in which labour integration is a key
factor- based on a "multistakeholder" perspective that views social innovation
o Integrate people with disabilities into the labour market as part of a diverse
society .
o Create employment for people with disabilities in company value chains .
o Meet and overcome the increasing legislation on non-discrimination .

o Make sure that the human resources procedures take into account the

o WG2: Employment and Accessibility: To promote the effectiveintegration of people with disabilities and their talents in companies anddrive the production of accessible goods and services.

o WG3: Public Administrations and CSR: To encourage the role of public administrations as CSR promoters, including their capacity to influence via socially responsible public contracting.
Led by the Italian Ministry of Labour and Social Af fairs12
o For the first time, the disability dimension was included in the CSR
o To widen visibility and strengthen policy action at EU Level , contributing
to reinforce the disability aspect in CSR strategies.
o Add new Associate Members , which will enrich the work, scope and
impact of the Network.
o Finalization of ongoing deliverables (Work Group 2 & 3) and development of
annual work plans until 2015.

o Promotion of synergies among the different Working Groups.
o To strengthen the social innovation aspect through the creation of the
CSR+D Lab, a new space for innovative projects and initiatives, specially
among young people.
