Installation:

1. TURN OFF POWER. DO NOT ATTEMPT INSTALLATION UNTIL IT IS VERIFIED THAT THE POWER IS OFF.

2. Place the Innovative Lighting® Smooth Light LED Recessed Luminaire into the T-Bar ceiling

frame.

3. Remove the access plate in the back of the luminaire. The access plate will have a green GND wire connected to it with a green GND screw. The green GND wire will connect into a 3- terminal quick disconnect connector along with the white neutral input wire and the black line input wire to the luminaire.

4. Break out one of the knock outs in the access plate and attach the conduit for the ac input wires. Plug each of the ac input wires into the 3-terminal quick disconnect connector according to the colors on the connector inputs and as shown in the drawing below:

GREEN – GROUND, WHITE – NEUTRAL, BLACK – LINE

5. If the optional 0-10V dimming control of the luminaire is to be used, break out the second knock out in the access plate and attach the dimming conduit for the dimming control wires. Connect the dimming control wires according to the colors of the wires and as shown in the drawing below:

VIOLET – DIM (+), GRAY – DIM (-)

6. Push the wiring and connectors back into the luminaire and replace the access plate into the back of the luminaire.

7. Turn the power back on and verify that the Innovative Lighting® Smooth Light LED Recessed

Luminaire has been installed correctly.

WARRANTY INFORMATION

Innovative Lighting LLC, Limited Product Warranty is TEN (10) YEARS from date of purchase on

Innovative Lighting® Smooth Light LED Recessed Luminaires and their components. Any product

developing such defect in material or workmanship within this period will be repaired or replaced with a

like product, at our option (IL) providing it is sent to us, transportation charges prepaid. Proof-of-

Purchase date must accompany return to IL at our Roland, Iowa facility. IL does not warrant contractor’s

installation work or performance.

This warranty is void if the product warranted has been damaged by accident or unreasonable use,

neglect, improper installation or service, or other cause not arising out of defects in material or

workmanship.

This TEN (10) YEAR Limited Product Warranty is not transferable and applies to the original installation

of the Innovative Lighting® Smooth Light LED Recessed Luminaires for as long as the original purchaser

owns them.

SHIPPING DAMAGE

The Innovative Lighting® Smooth Light LED Recessed Luminaires should be examined for shipping

damage upon receipt. The components in the kits have been carefully inspected before shipment. Any

claim for loss or damage must be made to the carrier, which will provide any necessary inspection

reports and/or claim forms.
