Implementation of GAPAD
At Cop 21 – launch of the, “Paris Declaration”, on the importance of agricultural diversification in the era of climate change. Calls upon States, intergovernmental organisations and the non-government sector to take the following actions:
1. develop GAPAD 2. convene an International Conference on Agricultural Diversification under the auspices of UNFAO 3. agree at CBD COP 13 (Mexico 2016) on a process to formulate a, ‘protocol on Agricultural Diversification’, to the Convention on Biological Diversity, 1992
