What to Do? All Operators of Inline stores must complete a site inspection, which consists of the following: 1 – Draw a floor plan of the store/ space provided. 2 – Draw a store front elevation 3 – Photograph the store/ space provided. 4 – Measure and provide all dimensions and data requested on this form.

Creating Your Floor Plan & Check List How to Draw a Floor Plan

• Use ¼” graph paper provided for you • Drawing Scale: Small Stores (less than 1200 sq ft) make your drawing to scale. ¼” = 1’ • (one box on paper equals one square foot in the store) For Larger Stores (more than 1200 sq ft) Make your drawing to scale ¼” = 2’ • (one box on paper equals two square feet in the store) • Label all walls, doors, windows in feet and inches on EACH page of the floor plan. • Never round up! Give exact measurements in feet and inches. DO NOT USE METRIC. • Do a rough draft first. Double check all of your dimensions and then make a final drawing. • Use PEN for your FINAL drawing - no pencil please. • Label OVERALL sales area separately on the floor plan. • If you have preferences or ideas about where each concept should be placed in a multi concept store,

please indicate this on the floor plan or in your notes. • If you use any symbols on the drawing, include a legend to explain • Make your drawing neat, clear and comprehensive. • Review the Floor Plan Example on the next page. • Number multiple pages in the top right corner when faxing so that they can be easily matched up. Number

Your Store/Area Photograph Check List Important information for photographing the Store/Area

Use a high resolution digital camera (5+ mega-pixels) - colour only. Thoroughly photograph both the interior and exterior of your store.

• Right click on the folder containing your store photos. • Select the “send to” option from the menu. • Select the “Compressed or (zipped)” option it will automatically compress the file with the exact same name.

To Use the FTP site:

• Simply type in the site name http://dropbox.yousendit.com/CalendarClub and type the Store Number and Mall Name in the subject line OR visit www.calendarclubcanada.ca and click upload store photos.

• Click the browse button and locate your named folder and click it, if the file is not Compressed/Zipped you will have to load each photo individually up to 5 photos per e-mail.

• If you have more than one zipped folder simply click the Add another file link. • When finished click the SEND IT button

• FAX the form and drawing. • FAX the Site Inspection form and the drawing to: 1-519-442-4602 ATT: Store Display • Write the Store number and the Mall name on the fax cover sheet.

HOW TO Measure Graphic Inserts The Graphic The most IMPORTANT thing to remember when measuring for Graphic Inserts is to MEASURE THE GRAPHIC SIZE, NOT

the frame or holder. If there is no graphic inside the frame, measure the inside of the frame or the Clear Acrylic Cover or Diffuser

The Frame or Holder All Graphic Holders have some type of frame. Look carefully at

the holder to see how the Graphic Insert fits into the frame.

Typical Frame Types include:

Hinged Frame – The frame has a side or top hinge and a closing

mechanism, which allows you to open the frame up to take out and

insert the graphic.

Slip Frame – The frame has a slot at the top or side which allows

you to “slip” the graphic in.
