UNAM VS POLI

different things for example: politecnico in the

engineering and the UNAM in the science, so you are

the judge of which is better

POLITECNICO AND UNAM are de most famous

institutes around the country but the question is…. Which

is the best?

UNAM Has one of the most fantastic places of the institute “the

botanic”.The botanic is a beautiful place

The UNAM has the most beautiful high school in all

the country a thing that doesn’t have POLI

THE CCH SUR

Is UNAM biggest than POLI? Inaugurated in

1952 , CU CURRENTLY HAS 360 buildings and an ecological reserve which

covers an area of 1.46 square kilometers and lacks Lighting Large

secluded areas . The only care for two thousand 400

As the Polytechnic, Unam has close a subway station which is very

convenient for many who live far away but The Unam has an

exclusive transport THE PUMABUS

Mexican institutions in the training of technicians and professionals in the fields of

administration, science ,

education of its students . It counts with facilities such as swimming pools, stadiums, gymnasiums and tennis . Among the most popular

sports are : soccer, football , basketball, taekwondo ,

La Llorona: a legend that transcend over the time. There are a lot versions of this legend, some more popular than others but all of them are important because they have been transmitted for a very long time generation by generation.

Some people don’t believe that this woman was real and they believe that was only a invention of people, only a story; other people believe that this woman appeared and all of the legends have a real part, a small part of the people saw her walking and heard her moan.

I´m going to show you some of these legends that surround La llorona:

On the first age of the Colonial Mexico there was an indigene woman with a great amount of beauty that she became enamored of a Spanish, after they had three children, but he never married with her, and he almost never visited, sometime later he got married with another woman just for interest.

When the indigenous woman realized the betrayal was crazy and killed his three children, and the drowning in the river, when he realized that he did, in the instant that she felt so bad decided to commit suicide. From this fact, your soul does not have a break, so that every night she tries to find her children crying for their deaths.

First the Spaniards arrived to Tenochtitlan and the indians gave them tribute and human slaughter, but the Spanish react different; next, the indians gave them the Malinche helped them to reach agreements, and the sick, she was his translator, later, Cortés began to kill and attack, the Malinche helping many people who were the same people who killed his town, and felt ashamed, she every night crying and screaming for their sons (their brothers).

A large number of young women migrating from the countryside to the cities in search of their dreams, to study, and more money for their families. One of them comes to town and was working in a rich house, first she falls in love with the son of the rich couple, he leaves her alone when she was pregnant, she was fired from her job.

Then, she went back to her house, hiding her baby, and later her family noticed the baby and began to bother her because they were Christians. Then, one night, she ran in the rain towards the river, she threw her baby and when she thought of what she did jumped behind the guy trying to catch him, but it was too late and the two were killed

Another legend start with a women that kill her sons in her house, next the woman became suicide, and time later this woman appeared on the highway, when a car stop to help her she ask the driver (there were only mans) that he could take her to home, when they arrived she started to said that she can´t enter to her house because she was scare because her sons were there; the legend say what the person who take her to home be dying and the person never appear.

Many historians think that “la llorona” is from Mexico, in the culture that Mexico has it mention some gods like “Cihuacóatl” the female god of the mexicas, middle woman middle snake, the legend said that she exit from the lake of Texcoco and she cry for her sons, this legend have some coincides with “la llorona” bout shout and cry at night and exit or have a relation with the water.

In Mexico (1521-1810) people said that they heard and saw her, the scare was too big that cause that the habitants in a determinate hour of the day they should staid in his houses trying to evade this woman with terrifying moans.

In Chile they meet “la llorona” like La Pucullén the legend say that started when she was young and was pregnant then some people take away her baby, and they believe that se cry until the last day.

Page 14: Inglessss1

Only the people that are going to die can see her, or people with special abilities.

In Colombia is a ghost of a woman that walk around the mountains, near the lakes, that dress a black dressing gown, she has black , large and curly hair; her face is a skull with eyes totally white with a dead baby in her hands and she cry blond tears.

In the legend of Guatemala the version is different because first she cheat on his husband and she become pregnant, time later she decided to kill her sons because she was too scare that husband could know the true, next when she did it, started to thinks that was a terrible idea and then she made suicide.

Which is why it is doomed to repeat until the end of time his cry of “Oh my children”.

This legend every November 2nd is remember in Mexico, it have a play that one woman represent “la Llorona”

Some people ensures've seen the woman who were in front of they, another saw her floating, but all of them said that they heard her moaning and crying, they felt shivers, people say that she is a beautiful woman, the persons that were drunk and alone at night the “llorona” appear and she take them.

There are many legends of this amazing creature.

What legend do you prefer to believe?

Robots in the future Over the next ten years, breakthroughs in nanotechnology may help us build better and smaller machines.

A nanometre is just one-millionth of a millimetre in length and nanotechnology involves studying and working with materials on an ultra-small scale.

Using nanotechnology, scientists have created a tiny walking nanobot, using only the building blocks of life: DNA.

The microscopic walker, which is only 10 nanometres long, uses its legs to move along a footpath.

Nanotechnology could also lead to a range of materials with new qualities such as stay-clean glass and magnetic liquids.

There may also be breakthroughs from scientists trying to implant computer programs into living creatures - known as wetware.

This technology could help people with false arms or legs to move them just by thinking about it.

Catching a thief by their face.A man walks up to the front door of a jeweller in the centre of Rotterdam and buzzes to enter but it doesn’t budge. He waits. While he lingers by the door, a facial recognition camera quickly scans his face and cross references the image with a watch list of

known shoplifters from the local police department. It turns out he has a criminal record for shoplifting and the jeweller doesn’t want him on the premises.

That was one example of a pilot called FotoSwitch in 2011, a program run by the Rotterdam Rihnmond police department, the Netherlands’ Ministry of Security and Justice, and the Dutch Federation of Gold and Silver, aided by Spanish biometrics firm Herta Security.

The pilot gave jewellers an opportunity to quickly screen customers before they entered. The door would also stay locked if a person was wearing sunglasses or something obscuring their face.
