Vietnam• Americans used a lot of Napalm bombs in
the Vietnam War• They helped clear out the Vietnamese
from their hiding places near trees and bushes
• It also was effective in holding back attackers, creating a line of napalm between the Americans and Vietnamese
• First ever helicopter to be introduced to the United States Military in 1959
• Most common uses were for troop transport, medical evacuations, and utility purposes
• Can transport 8-14 troops (about one squad)• Maximum speed of 135 MPH and a cruising speed of 125 MPH • UH-1 Iroquois accommodated two door gunners, two pilots, and
