ClimbStation makes Indoor Climbing available like never before!

When I founded the company, my goal was to build the worlds leading “Climbing Simulator”. I wanted the automated and motorised Indoor Climbing Wall to be easy to assembly, mobile and to include the most advanced and intelligent user interface. Also, the upcoming product needed to work smoothly, be reliable and upgradable, for example with the addition of sound and animation to attract the climber as well as the audience. All in all, it was to have all the features needed to ensure the most spectacular climbing experience that can be achieved in a small space, without needing safety ropes, harnesses or personal guidance. Just have fun and climb!

Welcome to the world of ClimbStation automated climbing walls.Research and engineering development was started in 2004 with Tekes (Finnish Funding Agengy for Technology and Innovation) and Keksintösäätiö (Foundation for Finnish Inventions). Together with the help of many professionals and companies in Finland, this product is finally available! Thank you for all who believed in it! In general, indoor climbing has experienced an increase in popularity everywhere, as rainy, hot or cold climate can make climbing outdoors difficult or impossible to practise. ClimbStation climbing is free climbing without ropes and it has challenges for all skill levels, from beginners to pros. Just select the route you are interested in and climb. ClimbStation can also be set to a fully automatic mode, where you don’t need to press any buttons - just put on your shoes and start climbing. When you fall down, ClimbStation will stop automatically and start the track from the beginning for the next climber to go! An excellent choice for events and resorts.

Mobility gives the freedom of doing business at events. Test it at any location and see the reaction immediately.

Upgradable multi language touch screen makes climbing challenging and fun. Besides giving motivation, the user interface shows the climber’s progress: time, calories burnt and distance climbed.

ClimbStation is an experience that will be told to friends and is fun to watch, too. We can design a custom made ClimbStation, for example. Imagine, this can be installed on top of a swimming pool!

About ClimbStation:ClimbStation provides real climbing without safety harness and needs only 7 square meters floor space. Hydraulic and automatic tilting mechanism range is set between +15 – -39 degrees steep. For transport it goes to transportation position, so it can be put on normal car trailer. Total height when transporting is 2 meters.

You can select warm-up, medium or hard climbing from the touch screen display and see how high and what level you are climbing or how many calories you have consumed. It can be set to come harder and harder after time or you can practice your favorite level continuously. There are 12 automatic levels to choose from, plus manual settings. Fine adjustments and entering your weight for calories calculation are also an option.

User interface will guide you with your native language, as there are several languages to choose from.

Handholds are easy to change, reduce or increase the amount. Factory set there are 90 holds.

Mobility makes it possible to test it at your current location to prove its benefits and customers positive reaction. ClimbStation can be transported conveniently with a normal car trailer.

Multiple sensors and smart automation makes it fun and effective to use. Just select your climbing level, go to the wall and climb your speed. If you are fast, the wall rotates faster, if you stop, the wall will slow down and stop so you will have time to think your next move.
