2020

• 2009 – 2014 – 35 lakhs (3.5 million) out of which 14 lakhs (1.4 million) individuals were enrolled and skilled between 2013 and 2014 alone

• Total amount spent by the Indian government to date INR 2333 crores (USD 359 million)

• Manpower skilling target for 2015 - 24 Lakhs (2.4 million)

• Funds allocated - INR 1500 crore (USD 230 million)

• Make in India effect – 2.75 lakh (0.275 million) jobs created between Jul – Dec 2014 – increasing employment by 118%
