Adaptive Soldier Architecture
Purpose:
• Enable rapid technology insertion through deliberate CFT management while maximizing industry innovation
• Leap ahead capability will be found in the integration of current or near-term fielded capabilities
• Provides the foundation to all future Lethality CFT efforts

• Synchronized CFT plan to identify which interfaces across the soldier and squad are critical and iterate during the prototyping phases.

• Intent: Increase Soldier Mobility and Lethality by fielding Fused, Dual-Tube, White Phosphor ENVGs to Close Combat Forces. ENVG-Bs will have RTA capability and accept AR feeds.
• Documents: Approved Directed Requirement for 10,262 ENVG-B. Follow on Systems covered by pending Annex to existing ENVG CPD.
• Status: Initial Fielding of Directed Requirement ENVG-Bs scheduled 2QFY19.

ENVG B• The FWS-I is an un-cooled, lightweight, infrared imaging device
of medium- to high-resolution used for surveillance and target
acquisition on individual weapons during day, night, adverse
weather, and obscured battlefield conditions.
• The FWS-I, when used in conjunction with the ENVG-B, shall provide Rapid Target Acquisition (RTA) capability.
