Requirements
• To graduate with Engineering Honors– Complete at least 21 Honors credits offered
by Engineering or Science (at least 12 credits in engineering; ENGR 181H seminar and ISEN 491H - 6 credits)
• Grade Requirement at Graduation– Cumulative GPA of at least 3.5– Honors courses GPA > 3.25, B or better– No honor code violation on record
• Attend community of scholars events– 2 per semester

Earning Honors Credit
• Honors courses (section 2XX)– Stand alone (e.g. ENGR 111/112)– Stacked (we should consider offering)
• Undergrad research (291/491), independent study (285/485) or internship (284/484)
• Graduate courses – All grad courses count– Up to 6 hours graduate courses registered for
graduate credit– Up to 3 grad courses in the fast-track option
• At least 3 honors credits must be ISEN courses (grad or undergrad) plus 491H
