As we know that language is the life of a nation. By mastering the language and local culture, we will easily adapt to the new environment, appreciated by the local community, and communicate effectively with local partners to be succeeded in the business or educational field. About UMN UMN was established on 25 November 2005 based on the National Education Ministerial Decree No. 169/D/O/2005. Its operation is officially managed by Multimedia Nusantara Foundation. This foundation was established by Kompas Gramedia, a reputable business group engaged in mass media, publishing, printing, bookstores, hotels and education services. UMN is an institution of higher education with information and communication technology as its basis in the learning process in each subject it delivers. The professional lecturers in education and the directed and integrated programs will bring UMN to be an outstanding university at both national and international levels. UMN is targeted to be the inspiration for the birth of a new educational paradigm for Indonesian young people so as to produce highly-competent and technopreneurship-based graduates. Description BIPA UMN is one of the most prestigious programs by Continuing Education Department (CED) UMN. We have offered the program since 2013 and the program itself is aimed to facilitate the needs of foreign students and workers to learn Bahasa Indonesia properly as well as learning the culture of local people in Indonesia. Students are specially taught by our qualified and experienced lecturers, where some of them had Teacher Certification to teach Bahasa Indonesia for foreigners (BIPA) which was issued by BIPA Teachers Association (APBIPA) in cooperation with Ministry of Education and Culture, Indonesia.
