ADHPL , a subsidiary of Malana Power Co of LNJ Bhilwara Group is located at village Prini, Tehsil Manali, District Kullu a distance of 60 kms from Bhuntar airport, Kullu. It is 500 km away from Delhi by road. The project utilises water from the Hamtal and Pataori Himalayan streams, which form the Allain river, and from the Chandar Tal glacier-fed Duhangan river.
Water is transferred from separate intakes and underground headrace tunnels into a common intermediate reservoir before being discharged through a steel/concrete lined pressure shaft into the underground powerhouse at Prini village which is located near Manali town. Power is transmitted to the national grid connection point located at Nalagarh via a high voltage 175 KM long 220 KV transmission line built by the company.
A2Z began its operations in Facility Management Services (FMS) and later entered the Engineering Procurement & Construction (EPC) business, in the fiscal year 2008. The EPC business got its intensity with the acquisition of Sri Eswara Sai Construction Private Limited, a company registered in the year 2007 engaged in the installation of transmission lines, which was subsequently merged with and into the Company, in January 2008.
The company is venturing into biomass power generation and had set up several biomass based power plants across India.
Aarti Steels Limited, a fully integrated steel manufacturing company with state of art plant located in Punjab and Orissa with an total installed capacity of 2 lakh tonne per annum and 90 MW of Power.
They manufacture total range of Carbon, Alloy and Special Steels conforming to National / International Specifications including customer specific requirements through a dedicated route of steel making i.e. Electric Arc Furnace - Secondary Refining - Vacuum Degassing Route / Con-cast with Electro Magnetic Stirring / Snorkle Casting practices.

Aarti Steel Ltd is planning to set up 500 MW (2 x 250 MW) coal based power plant in Gantikhal in Athagarh in Orissa. The company has already an existing 50 MW power plant in the site. Water requirement is to be met from Mahanadi river and coal requirement is estimated at 2.844 mtpa.
The project is in planning stage. The company has signed an MoU with the state government for 500 MW power plant in 2009. However, the company has commissioned only 50 MW power plant. The remaining power plant capacity is yet to be finalized.

The project is likely to go operational by 2015.
Abhijeet Power Limited is a power project development company in India. They are currently developing three thermal power projects with a combined installed capacity of 2,671.6 MW in the states of Maharashtra, Jharkhand and Bihar. They intend to sell the power generated from these projects under a variety of off-take arrangements, including long, medium and short term PPAs to state owned and private distribution companies, private power trading companies and industrial consumers, and on merchant basis.

Abhijeet Group is planning to set up a captive power plant in Gauraha & Jijnauri villages in Vijayaraghavgarh Tehsil in Katni district of Madhya Pradesh. The project involves setting up of blended cement unit with a capacity of 3.0 mtpa, clinker unit of 3.0 mtpa, a waste heat recovery power plant of 10 MW and a captive power plant of 36 MW.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Kaizn Power Ltd, a special purpose vehicle of Abhijeet group is setting up a 300 MW thermal power project in Visakhapatinam in Andhra Pradesh. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 16,440 million and is funded by debt: equity ratio of 4:1. The debt portion has been underwritten by UCO bank.
The company has awarded the BTG contract worth of Rs. 6300 million to BHEL in March 2012. The project has yet to complete land acquisition.
BHEL is going slow on equipment as the project is facing funding issues.

ACB (Formerly Aryan Coal Beneficiations Ltd) along with its subsidiaries and associates, is largest and most efficient coal washery operators in the private sector with an aggregate designed beneficiation capacity, on a proportional basis, of 57.86 million tons per annum. Aryan Group's beneficiation operations are spread over 15 locations in India in the major coal bearing states of Chhattisgarh, Orissa, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh and include the largest coal beneficiation plant in India in Dipka (Chhattisgarh), with a designed capacity of 12.00 million tons per annum. The Company’s core business is coal beneficiation and power generation. Aryan Group has it’s Corporate Office in Gurgaon, with offices at various locations in India.

ACB India is developing a 1,200 MW coal-based thermal power plant in the Champa-Janjgir district, Chhattisgarh. The project site is located in the Katsira and Dari villages in the Korba district, Chhattisgarh. The site is located approximately 25 kilometres from Korba (nearest town). The nearest railway station is in Korba. The site is suitable for the Champa Power Project because of the ease of access to the site and the readily accessible fuel and water supply.
The total land required for the Champa Power Project is 967.84 acres out of which 431.06 acres are government land for which the State Investment Promotion Board issued order for transfer. Private land amounting to 560 acres is being acquired through the Government of Chhattisgarh. Application for diversion of forest land amounting to 6.78 acres has been submitted to the Forest Department.
Coal linkage is applied for an estimated requirement of 6.2 mtpa.
Water allocation for 35 million cubic meters of water per annum from the Hasdeo River have been received. The water will be pumped from the Hasdeo River through the pipes to the project site.
The proposed date for commercial production of the first unit of 600 MW is September 2015 and the second unit of 600 MW is by March 2016.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Aryan Coal Beneficiations to set up 1200 MW (4 x 300 MW units) TPP at Musamudhi & Bhumka Village in Sidhi district of Madhya Pradesh. The site is reported to conform to the siting guidelines in terms of distance of 500 m from the highway, railway line and HFL of the river. The land requirement for the project is stated to be 1200 acres. Water requirement is estimated at 4400 m3/hr, which will be obtained from Banas river. Closed circuit cooling with COC of 4 will be adopted. The company has invited bids in 2009 for selection of EPC contractor. Egateway India has been retained as project consultant.
The proposed commissioning date of the first unit of 600 MW is June 2016 and for second unit is December 2017. The company has invited bids for Balance of Plant package in July 2011.
