A politician is a person who holds or seeks an office within a government, usually

by means of an election, voted for either by people or by a definitive group in the

government.

For making any reformations, the politicians propose, support and create laws or

policies that govern the land and by extension, its people. Anyone who seeks to

achieve political power in any bureaucratic institution can be an Indian politician.

Brijmohan Agarwal is a cabinet minister in the state of Chhattisgarh. He manages

a number of departments such as Minister of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Fish

Rearing and water resources.

Earlier he was handling the departments of education, tourism, cultural and

parliamentary affairs. When he was a student also, he actively participated in

politics. In 1977 , this famous India Politician joined Bhartiya Janta Party.

In 1981-82, he became the President of Durga Mahavidyalaya Raipur. In the same

year he also became Chief Advisor of university student union of Pt. Ravishankar

Shukla University Raipur. In 1982-83, he was chosen to the past of President

student union of Kalyan Mahavidyalaya, Bhilai.

Witnessing his leadership and organizational, THE BHARATIYA JANTA Party

appointed him as youth minister of Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha in 1984. He

contributed a lot in all the works of the party , therefore the party elected him as

the Vice-President of Bhatiya Janta Yuva Morcha.

When he was chosen in 1990, he was the youngest M.L.A who was chosen to

Legislative Assembly of undivided Madhya Pradesh. The party and the then

Chief Minister Sunder Lal Patwa included him in ministry as local government

(Independent Charge), science and Technology and tourism.

In 2003, he was selected in the cabinet as Home Minister, as he managed the

portfolios of Culture, Tourism and Prison. In 2005, he became Minister-Revenue,

culture and tourism, Law, Rehabilitation. The additional charges of forest, sports

and youth Affairs was also given to him.
