FOREWORD

IIM Trichy gladly announces the successful completion of the Final Placement process for the academicyear 2019-20 (PGP 2018-20) of the Post Graduate Program (PGP) in Management. Through the years, theinstitution and its faculty body have continuously strived to shape our students into world class leaders. Theoutgoing batch of PGP 2018-20 have shown exceptional academic rigor and the learnings they havegained here will pave their road to success.

IIM Trichy this year saw participation from 119 companies which is an incredible 26% increase over theprevious year. We take pride in announcing our new relationships this year with recruiters like McKinsey &Company, Goldman Sachs, Franklin Templeton, ONGC, HSBC, etc. offering key roles across domains. Wehave strengthened our existing relationship with top recruiters like Deloitte, Godrej, Saint Gobain, TAFE, YesBank, L&T, RBS, Shell, etc.

186 offers in total have been made by our esteemed recruiters to 173 students across the domains of Sales& Marketing, Finance, Consulting & Analytics and Operations. Average CTC of students placed in Financedomain increased by an exceptional 18% over last year with the other domains also showing an increasein average CTC. The Number of PPI/PPOs secured by students from their summer internship has seen anremarkable increase of 236%. This strong performance is an indication of IIM Trichy’s commitment toacademic excellence and the active role it plays in shaping the world of management.
