Our city embraces and showcases Indian culture with a range of festivals and events, including the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, the largest annual celebration of Indian cinema in the southern hemisphere. About the Indian Cinema Attraction FundThis fund aims to bring large-scale film and television projects from India to shoot in Victoria. We are seeking projects that will showcase our region to Indian audiences, and provide skills development and job opportunities for our local industry, including members Victoria’s Indian community.

EligibilityApplications are open to Indian production companies or studios that have produced at least ten feature films that have been shown on 1000+ screens in India.

Projects must be a feature film that will spend at least AU$700,000 in Victoria and television series may also be eligible in some circumstances.

How much can you apply for?Successful applicants can receive a grant of up to 25% of the project’s qualifying Victorian expenditure. Projects that demonstrate significant value to Victoria may be eligible to receive over 25%, at Film Victoria’s discretion.
