INDIAN ACADEMY OF CEREBRAL PALSY11th ANNUAL CONFERENCE
Indian Academy of Cerebral Palsy
INTERNATIONAL FACULTY
ORGANIZING SECRETARY Dr. Asha Nayak, Chief Physiotherapist - Sagar Hospitals-JNR
Welcome to the 11th annual conference of Indian Academy of cerebral palsy hosted at Bengaluru jointly with Sagar Hospitals & Dayananda Sagar College of Physiotherapy – a first time partnership between our academy, a teaching institution & a corporate hospital committed to learning & sharing scientific advances. Bengaluru, the IT Capital of India, the garden city & the fastest growing metro of the country has been the home for science & technology for ages now. Apart from being a pioneer centre for science education, neuroscience in particular, the city is also an abode of Architecture, Literature, Music, Drama & Dance of native cultural colour & flavor with some of the oldest institutions for disability care. It is only befitting that our next decade of journey in the field of developmental disorders which began in 2005 at Mumbai with the history of 10 annual conferences behind us, is being ushered in with a fascinating theme of “The brain, gene & context triad – means for harnessing neuroplasticity for maximal developmental gains”. The theme is being deliberated upon by a galaxy of national & international experts furthering our strong commitment to knowledge translation & evolving culturally relevant management modules in various forums, plenary & hands on workshop, paper presentations & debates catering to the needs of generation next as well as the academically alert senior professionals. The organizing committee joyously welcomes you to enjoy the scientific feast as well as the visual delights surrounding the lovely city & its neighborhood.
