BHIMALIYA VILLAGE, PALI DT [IS Rajasthan]

India Sudar started its activities in Rajasthan a year back. Since then we have been running a Learning Centreat Bhimaliya village, Someshar, Pali Dt. Thirty students are studying in the learning centre and recently India Sudarprovided them text books, note books and other educational stationary. We also renewed the teacher deployment for
the academic year 2011-12.

THIRUPPUR , KARUR AND VIRDHUNAGAR DT [IS Tamil Nadu]

academic performance of the students.
* Two teachers are deployed at Renganathampettai, KarurDt. One teacher will teach computer fundamentals atour computer centre and another teacher will teach the basics to slow learners.

* A teacher at Govt Primary School at Mayanur, KarurDt, to teach ABL system for first to third standardstudents.

education. Every year we have been paying their fees and providing note books and uniforms. Now we paid Rs.113489/-for their education for the academic year 2011-12.

GNAYARU , THIRUVALLUR DT [IS Tamil Nadu]

India Sudar member Kathiravan.R visited Govt High School Gnayaru, PonneriTaluk, Thiruvallur Dist. The totalstrength of the school in 345, of these, 250 students are living under poverty line. There are only five teachers in theschool. Requirements such as deploying more teachers, providing uniforms and note books to students etc. have to bemet immediately.
India Sudar has been supporting Govt High School Porani, KarurDt since 2009. We have deployed a teacher toassist slow learning students and to encourage students to make full use of the library and educational CDs. IndiaSudar member visited the school to assess the progress and was delighted with the improvement. School strength has
been on the rise since 2009 and the school is securing 100 per cent results every year. Our member interacted withthe students and identified their requirements.
ADIDRAVIDA SAMOOGA SEVAGAR SANGAM –CHENNAI [IS Tamil Nadu]

AdiDravidaSamoogaSevagarSangam is located at Tondiarpet, Chennai and was established in 1931. Thisorganization currently takes care of 53 orphan/ST/SC children and its activities are funded by Govt of Tamil Nadu.India Sudar started education project for this home in 2005. But last year due to lack of competent teachers, we were
unable to continue the project. We are planning to restart the activities here and are looking forward to providingregular training to 9th, 10th and 12th standard students.
LIBRARY VISIT-THENI [IS Tamil Nadu]

India Sudar member SenthilKumaran visited our library at Kadamalaikundu village in Theni Dt. The library is beingutilized well by students. At least 30 students come daily to the library.
India Sudar members visited R.M.J Govt Higher Secondary School and Govt High School, Pakkam in ThiruvallurDist. The former has student strength of 854, but only 21 teachers. Two teachers are taking commerce classes for +1and +2 students and so far they have been working without salary. The school requested India Sudar to support the
teachers' salary from current month.
Govt High School, Pakkam has total student strength of 500 and teacher strength of 16. The school requested IndiaSudar to deploy a teacher for taking evening classes and to provide partial financial support to the commerce teacher,
who has been paid a paltry sum collected as fees from the students.
NAYAKANPALAYAM, COIMBATORE [IS Tamil Nadu]

India Sudar members visited Govt Higher Secondary School, Nayakanpalayam, Coimbatore, which is a ruralarea located 40 kms from Coimbatore. Most of the students are from financially and socially backward families. IndiaSudar identified the requirements such as painting blackboards, providing notebooks and uniforms to students etc.
India Sudar provided educational stationery including notebooks, pens pencils to 52 slum dwelling studentsstudying in St John’s School, 10 Victor Simmonel Street, Pondicherry.

PENCIL DRAWING CAMP-COIMBATORE [IS Tamil Nadu]

India Sudar arranged a special pencil drawing camp for 6th and 7th standard students atPanchyathSchool,Samichettipalayam,Coimbatore. India Sudar member Prithivi Raj took classes on pencil drawing andexplained how to start with basic object drawings, landscapes and human faces. Books on pencil drawing and otherrequired stationaries were distributed to students. 50 students participated in the camp.
