The British came India in 1840. First time when the British found India they came for (business), than name of company was east India company. When they came to India, India was divided in many kingdoms, and all were fighting. They followed divide and rule. India became free 15 August in 1947. The first president of independent India was P.T.Juala Neru

The INDIAN people speak 26languages .As Hindi,Punjabi,English,Marathi,Tamil,Spanish

etc..But the official languages are Hindi,English,

Punjabi.

The geography of India is diverse, with landscape ranging from snow-capped mountain ranges to deserts, plains, rainforests, hills, and plateaus. India Comprises most of the Indian subcontinent situated on the Indian Plate, the northerly portion of the Indo-Australian Plate. India has got four weathers. In December, January and February are cold weather. In march and April are spring weather. In May and June are rainy weather. July, August September October and November are hot weather.
