ISMST 2018 NEW ZELAND CONGRESS 19
4
WELCOME It’s truly my pleasure to welcome all the participants of this XX’th ISMST, VI’th SETOC and ONLAT Congress of San Sebastian 2017.
As I said before on my previous messages and as you can see in this booklet, we have an excellent
Scientific Program, comprising the latest advances, indications and application methods of the Shockwave Treatments.
We also have a lot of participants from around the world with presenters coming from more than twenty different countries of the five continents.
The faculty comes from all around the world ranging from leading scientist and researchers to prominent clinicians and surgeons of global prestige.
The ISMST ICC Certification Course is going to be a great event, with a big attendance.
Participants will be able to learn the latest advances and different aspects of the Shockwave Treat-ments, often taking advantage of the existing language simultaneous translation English-
Spanish, and after approving the final exam, they will get the ISMST Certification Diploma.
Besides the Congress, I hope the weather will remain fine, and during the breaks and free time
you can relax and enjoy the beaches! Stroll through the city! Wander around the Old Town and
Downtown and their taverns and bars tasting the fantastic “pintxos”! Enjoy the Gastronomy!
Walk around the magnificent promenades bordering the see!
Visit and tour the surroundings! Plan to attend the social dinners and events! Have a typical
lunch at a traditional Cider Cellar House on Saturday! (You can get more information of the latter at our Technic Secretary)
Enjoy San Sebastian!
But above all, keep the memory of the friendship of the ISMST, the SETOC and the ONLAT forever!
Sincerely
Dr. Jose Ramon Aranzabal M.D., Ph.D.
President of the I.S.M.S.T.Presidente de la S.E.T.O.C.
