Founder Statement
Goldfields Emergency Fire Services Training Academy was established in 2006 by Mr. T.P. Moseme and Me. K.P. Moseme. The
abovementioned academy started with 15 students and is currently training a reasonable number of students per year. Presently our
team consists of two management directors and fourteen staff members. The GEFSTA team combined possesses many qualifications
and years of experience in the emergency training, operations, and preparedness and safety fields.
On behalf of the academy team, we would like to thank all our Students, Clients, Partners, Sponsors, Vhembe District Municipality, Dr.
Kenneth Kaunda District Municipality, West Rand District Municipality, Municipalities Local, District & Provincial, Lesotho, Botswana,

Company History
Training:
Our team specialize in different training types. Fire Fighter 1 & 2-Hazmat Awareness & Hazmat Operational, Emergency Care Levels, 1-2-3 and all industrial Courses etc. We provide on-site and off-site training for every company who is in need of our training on request.
Service Level:
Municipalities like West Rand District Municipality, Emfuleni Local Municipality, Dihlabeng Local Municipality, Merafong Local Municipality, Sedibeng Water Board and different EMS personnel were trained by our Academy. Students come from different Provinces like Free State, Gauteng, North West, Eastern Cape, Limpopo, Mpumalanga and Western Cape, Lesotho and Botswana to study with our Academy. Grain SA uses our academy for all levels of training for their personnel.
Accreditation:
GEFSTA as is known is currently accredited with South African Emergency Services Institute (SAESI/IFSAC), the Department of Labor (DOL), provisionally with the HWSETA and we are busy with the process of obtaining the LG SETA accreditation as well. Companies like Siyemba Enterprises use our academy for facilitating all their fire fighting courses all around the country.
Practical’s:
Keeping our standard of our exercise towering, we believe on practising what we sermonize. We use places like Mine Rescue in Carletonville for confined space, Metsi Matsho at Qwa- Qwa for water rescue and many Mines in and around Welkom for search and rescue.
